The verdict

Who's travelling?

Pick a traveller type to re-weight the scores and re-rank the rooms around what you actually care about.

Read it your way

Hilton Nashville Downtown is an all-suite hotel positioned directly in the center of the city's entertainment and convention corridor. Guests consistently praise the spacious rooms with natural light, excellent views of Lower Broad, and on-site dining at The Palm Restaurant. However, valet parking is expensive and checkout can involve long elevator waits from lower floors. 1391715

  • Check out can be a pain if you are not on a high floor (solution, go up to go down if you are below level 25 or so? - that is what I did). 17
  • I've stayed at the Renaissance, it's just far enough away to be quiet, it's kind of dated but still a really nice hotel. We usually stay a little farther out at the Millennium Maxwell House on N Rosa Parks. Not as nice as the downtown hotels but not as expensive either. 17

  • Full kitchen in each unit. I did not find the noise to be a problem for sleeping. One of my personal faves. 17
  • Moxy - Closest to the honkytonks and I have heard the rooms, overall, are not extremely noisy ... except the ones that butt up against Kid Rocks. But I would question how heavy a sleeper they were, as too much noise on all sides and across the street - Kid Rock's, Lainey Wilsons, Show Pony, Posty Aldean's 32 Bridge (yes, three bars, but they all join). 17
  • take a look at this that someone's either authentic or replica gold record presented to Mary Louise to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies so I'm like huh interesting got a cool little feature defin this is the Music City On camera31:43
  • I was soooooo glad I didn't choose the Moxy. It is surrounded by loud bars. 17

  • I did not find the noise to be a problem for sleeping. One of my personal faves. 17
  • I did not find the noise to be a problem for sleeping. 17
  • The trade-off is noise. Fourth Avenue South is one block from the loudest stretch of Broadway in the country, and the honky-tonks run live music from late morning until 2am, seven days a week. 9
  • I was concerned that it would get very noisy at night, but it was fine. You can hear the music and street noises on occasion, but nothing that would disrupt from a restful sleep. 4
  • Stayed at the Hyatt Place this past weekend. A few sirens in the middle of the night but quiet and maybe a 3 block safe walk to Broadway. 17
