Read it your way

This all-suite property offers two-room suites with kitchenettes, balconies, and comfortable beds near Disney Springs. Guests enjoy complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, on-site dining like Benihana, and a casual evening reception. However, visitors frequently contend with long waits at breakfast, unimpressive highway views over I-4, and a mandatory nightly resort fee. 5147

  • Bathrooms are clean and functional, equipped with two sinks, shower/tub combos, and ample granite counter space. 14
  • The location offers convenient proximity to Disney Springs along with dining perks like an on-site Benihana. 65
  • Complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and the evening reception are consistently appreciated, despite morning lines. 1457

The catch

  • Some reviewers find the rooms freshly renovated and comfortable, while others argue the dark furniture and neutral tones feel dated. 14
  • While regular room rates under $200 are considered a great deal by some, others feel the $39 resort fee detracts from the value. 5

  • Guests who value free hot breakfast

Skip it if

  • The bathroom was clean and modern, just like the room is. The light colored ceramic tiles and stone countertops added to that fresh, updated feel. 6
  • The bathroom included two sinks, a feature that I loved. Especially when you're traveling with another adult, an extra sink is a must-have! 6

  • We stayed at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista for a couple of days before our stay at the BWI in May a year ago. I don't remember too much about it as we were never there, but I'm generally quite picky about hotels so it must have been fine. We stayed there purely for the location, which was great. 10
  • I liked the location being close to Walmart/Publix and an outlet mall, plus it was near a couple of the highways so going to any of the Disney parks was quick and easy. 7

  • Throughout the resort, you can see the attention to detail that comes with the Hilton hotel brand, and everything from the housekeeping staff to the landscaping was excellent and puts this hotel squarely in the 4-star hotel category. 6
  • Everyone that we encountered during our three night stay was extremely helpful. 6

  • Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista prices are under $200 regularly and can even be found for under $150 on occasion. Despite not being on-site and not included in the Early Entry perk, that's a great value if you're looking for a larger room size and a great list of amenities. 5
  • The lobby convenience store and gift shop are bursting with Disney souvenirs. The hotel runs a free shuttle to Epcot Center, from where guests can access the other areas of Disney World. There are fees for parking at the hotel, though Wi-Fi is free throughout (it can be spotty). 14

Room15 mentions
  • I liked this room more than the front portion in terms of design but both are pretty generic hotel rooms. Our first time at the hotel the room was clean and nice enough. Sadly, this wasn't the case the second time around and has soured our opinion. 5
  • Let's take a look at them! This is the view of the room from the door. The green color scheme lasts throughout the room and works well enough, although all of the different shades aren't my favorite. 5
  • Guest rooms are two-room suites with kitchenettes, but their neutral tones, dark furniture, and white walls are typical chain hotel, and have little distinctive character. 14
  • I love Embassy! They have the same big ol' atriums at most of them, and it's so luxurious to have every room as a suite! 8
  • I have a pretty severe dust allergy, and the room was incredibly dusty upon arrival. 1
  • Back inside, there's a gift shop with some Disney and vacation trinkets, as well as essentials if you forgot anything at home. There's also a light Disney theme in the decor that is more pigeonholed than anything but it's a small touch that guests might enjoy! 5
  • While they may be generic, the size of the room is hard to ignore. Rooms range from 470-490 square feet. Having a space for 6 different people that costs less than $200 is hard to ignore if you're doing Disney World on a budget. 5
  • We are hoping that the room's lack of cleanliness on our second visit was a one off, but I did knock the overall rating down half a point because of it. 5
  • Only con I can think of is the pool and hot tub are small and the location is a bit further away from all the theme parks Sweet-Efficiency7466 • 3 taon ang nakalipas I love Embassy! They have the same big ol' atriums at most of them, and it's so luxurious to have every room as a suite! 8
  • I'm not really picky when it comes to hotel decor, though, so I thought the interior felt just fine. 6
  • Compared to our room at Pop Century that we'd just checked out of, the room at Buena Vista Palace was spacious. 6
  • In terms of the offerings, the room was pretty standard, but everything was modern, colorful, and clean. 6
  • Decor is a bit drab compared to other kid-friendly resorts 14
  • Rooms are pleasant, clean, and spacious, with dark furniture, white walls, and green striped carpeting, although the in-room vibe is a tad stiff for a family-oriented, Florida resort and lacks any local flair. 14
  • One thing I weirdly loved were these cube ottomans in the living room. They looked like normal footrests but opened up for storage and could even turn into little side tables. 7
Food8 mentions
  • Occasional long waits for breakfast service 14
  • In house restaurant was interesting: went to it at 5:30 on a Friday night in July - both employees sitting in restaurant with the lights out. They did turn the lights on and serve us. Food was edible and didn't make us sick. 10
  • I have stayed at both, I would pick the Homewood Suites - the property is super nice and new. While they don't have quite the breakfast that ES has, their breakfast is still nice. 16
  • On top of that, having a decent breakfast included as well as a good spot in relation to Disney Springs made for some nice resort days followed by a night out. 5
  • Breakfast at the hotel is free and cooked to order, although there can occasionally be extensive lines in the mornings. 14
  • Breakfast was solid, Evening Reception was good, and overall the hotel felt very well maintained. 7
  • A complimentary made-to-order breakfast is offered, including omelets and Mickey Waffles. As far as continental breakfasts go, this is a really good one. 5
  • Outside of the complimentary options, there's also an ice cream and pizza window, a coffee (Starbucks) shop, a pool bar, and a full restaurant. All of these locations looked nice and gave guests plenty of options if they wanted a resort day. 5
Value3 mentions
  • The lobby convenience store and gift shop are bursting with Disney souvenirs. The hotel runs a free shuttle to Epcot Center, from where guests can access the other areas of Disney World. There are fees for parking at the hotel, though Wi-Fi is free throughout (it can be spotty). 14
  • Of course, the prices at the convenience store in the hotel are higher than what you'd pay off property, but I think it's worth it not to have to get in the car and fight Orlando traffic. 6
  • Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista prices are under $200 regularly and can even be found for under $150 on occasion. Despite not being on-site and not included in the Early Entry perk, that's a great value if you're looking for a larger room size and a great list of amenities. 5

  • Throughout the resort, you can see the attention to detail that comes with the Hilton hotel brand, and everything from the housekeeping staff to the landscaping was excellent and puts this hotel squarely in the 4-star hotel category. 6
  • Overall, visitors were pleased with the quality of the Embassy Suites, citing the helpful staff members and delicious breakfast as reasons to return. 11
  • The front desk employees let my sister check in a good four hours early, which allowed us to put our bags in the room and grab lunch before she had to go to her first afternoon of conference stuff. 6
  • Everyone that we encountered during our three night stay was extremely helpful. 6
  • The staff was generally friendly and always seemed interested in enhancing the guest experience. 1
  • When I brought this to the staff's attention, I was told that the cleaning crew would address it immediately. They didn't. 1
  • Best thing was the valet parking. We chose valet cuz it was maybe a few dollars more than self parking and the self parking lot was tiny. Way easier to valet and the bell staff got a kick out of being valet too, for a change. 10
  • Breakfast was solid, Evening Reception was good, and overall the hotel felt very well maintained. 7
  • I will add the shuttle service is ok. It's not a huge schedule. Check their site for times and such to make sure it works for you. 8

  • I wouldn't call location an asset for the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista. There are hotels much closer, both on-site and off-site. But the location is close enough to work, especially if you get free parking or don't mind the transportation options at the hotel. 5
  • Hilton has the shortest walk to Disney springs, feels the most updated inside, and has decent benefits for point stays. 8
  • As mentioned in the comments, it's a little bit newer / corporate feeling but convenient to any parks and plenty of restaurants nearby. 8
  • The south location is our personal favorite when traveling with kids. As mentioned in the comments, it's a little bit newer / corporate feeling but convenient to any parks and plenty of restaurants nearby. 8
View4 mentions
  • It's also an excellent home base if you're looking for more to do near Disney World than just go to the parks. Universal Studios is less than a 20 minute drive from Buena Vista Palace, the Premium Outlets, and International Drive. 6
  • The views aren't great because half the hotel overlooks I-4. But it is really not far from Disney (we always have a car though so I don't know what hotel transportation is like). 10
  • The views aren't great because half the hotel overlooks I-4. 10
  • I like the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista-we have stayed there several times. I think it does need to be updated though. 10
