  • With many of the same amenities, as it is a Hilton, it was hard to decide which one would be ranked 3 and which ranked 4 on the list. We love that this hotel has the lazy river and great views of the fireworks, but the nightly rates tend to run slightly more than the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. 13
  • The extra space in the room is a huge bonus for those with larger families or who just want a little extra space without having to pay the Deluxe Villa price of similar Disney accommodations. 10

  • And overall, the room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. good water pressure. On camera1213:47
  • Some of the suites include bedrooms separate from the main area. All the rooms provide more space than a typical hotel room. 13
  • Room was big and clean, AC can get super cold which was great. 19
  • there is a decent sized closet with a safe and extra linen On camera56:22
  • can you show me the view from this window yes we don't have a great view but there's a lot of beautiful plants I guess On camera155:17
  • Feel free to enjoy the outdoor pool or head to the theme parks. We were in a one bedroom suite, and it was large enough for the five of us with tons of room to spare. 1
  • And then we've got two lamps in here which I'm going to be honest the kitchen seems like it'll be appropriately lit. I think the living room is going to be dark tonight. On camera122:55
  • Floor 7 had laundry ($3 to wash/$3 to dry) takes credit card. Our room was always nice and cool. We kept it at 68 degrees without having to do any tricks or overrides. 6
  • now getting off the elevators and the room area you are have this kind of vestibule area it can get a little bit warm in direct sun if you head to the right there is ice and vending on certain floor there are also laundry facilities so the carpet obviously a little bit dated and we will show you into our room here On camera54:14
  • well probably behind this door there's a closet which is by the way is painted red for some reason doesn't match the thing On camera154:41
  • And then there's more drawers over here on my side of the bed for some more storage, but they're very shallow. These are very, very shallow drawers. On camera125:36
  • the TV in the main room or the the bedroom was kind of like to the left off to the side on top of a dresser we don't really watch TV much so it wasn't like something we cared about but if you were you know wanting to watch TV it was kind of a weird placement for it On camera415:18
  • The window brightens up the entire suite, making the space feel larger and more inviting, even if the view itself isn't the star of the show. On camera113:50
  • Within walking distance of Disney Springs, the 229 suites are spacious for a family, although the decor is startling, with no apparent theme. 9
  • One of the highlights of this hotel is that every room is a spacious suite, giving you plenty of room to relax after a long day in the parks. On camera110:40
  • and that was for a suite so we had a a patio we got to watch some squirrels which was lots of squirrels Top Notch for the kids and a separate sleeping room for the kids versus the adults which was sweet On camera1516:28
  • because it took I remember I was sent by the car and it took a long time like what is taking so long for this because nobody's in the lobby and I didn't know what was taking you so long and then you were like yeah she's trying to sell me a vacation package like that's great when you haven't even gotten the room yet On camera47:33
  • I like the table in our room the table room was nice it was good and I liked the space for activities it did okay it was big yes I would agree with that On camera419:42
  • In addition to the hanging space, the closet includes shelving, which makes it really handy for keeping everything organized during your stay. On camera113:27
  • On each side of the bed are nightstands with an alarm clock and USB outlets. These outlets are pretty limited, so bringing your own charging port is definitely a good idea. On camera112:08
  • the whole room was dated looks like they have a try to update it a little bit the furniture some of it was very rough there was a lot of it it had like a yellowish Hue to it it just felt it again it just felt like 80s kind of cold On camera413:20

  • Walking through a second barn door brings you into a very spacious bathroom. On camera112:20
  • We just have these little little drawer stands here. And it is honestly for a bathroom it's on the dim side which honestly for me is going to make it a little bit hard to do my makeup in the morning. On camera126:21
  • A hair dryer was provided but like most hotels, it was rather weak. 6
  • and the toilet was really low to the ground okay that was the most uncomfortable toilet I've ever seen in my life On camera413:42
  • Coffee five cups ice bottle sink it's a perfect sink cuz you're not going to be doing much On camera151:38
  • so overall pretty standard bathroom and I also do have the hair dryer there On camera56:59
  • hey that is a very tall shower head if you've watched any of my reviews that is a big thing for me I am six foot tall so I don't like ducking for my showers to when it's my hair On camera56:47
  • A hair dryer is also provided. It's the typical Conair 1875. It gets the job done, but if you're picky about dryers, you may want to bring your own. On camera113:02
  • What in the 1950s, why why did they want bathrooms to be so dark? Like, they're dangerous. They're wet. They're slippery. You could slip. You could fall. So, there's literally only one light in here, and it's right here. There's nothing over the shower. I feel like there should be. On camera126:59

  • Haven't stayed there before but I figured a Disney approved hotel in the Disney Springs area couldn't be too bad. (And you honestly can't beat the price for a suite.) 19
  • The Doubletree has families in mind as the price during peak summer season is less than $200/night. This comes in less than a room with two double beds in the value category at Disney. 1
  • I also have a rez at the Doubletree Suites, a mousesaver special that is half the cost of CBR. We are a daughter, granddaughter and me. Three generations YAY! The extra room makes so much sense to me and the $$$ is a no brainer. 17
  • This can be a positive for some families (the space!!) or a negative for smaller families/ couples that are visiting. We also don't think the resort fee covers a lot if you are not traveling with kids or if you don't plan to eat with your kids at the hotel restaurants often. 13
  • An additional strongpoint and real strength of this particular property is the cost. Inevitably if you're a Hilton Honors member or staying on a discounted rate, you can save some money staying here if you're careful about transportation costs and parking fees. 10
  • The two major downsides are the nightly resort fee and the nightly parking fee. These two fees should be factored into the total price when thinking about booking this resort. 13

  • so the first experience we have in this is that someone's trying to immediately sell a vacation package to you upon just trying to get your stuff to the room yeah so so the whole Direction was just a little off-putting because she was very she's very nice at first and then she got a little pushy about when she was selling On camera45:02
  • And what I kind of like is that we have this cute little kind of eating area, which is really helpful, especially if you've you're traveling with more than two people. On camera121:06
  • (with nuts) Very yummy. We were pleased with busses overall. It was usually a standard "Disney bus" but sometimes it was the nice Mears MDE bus with storage for strollers below and plush seating. 6
  • I called to talk to a rep or somebody and was put on hold twice and then when I got a person, they really didn't know. By then I'd waited long enough and didn't feel like being put on hold again. I hope their in house customer service is better. 17
  • Nice thick towels are provided and they provided extras upon request but few places to hang them up. 6
  • bell services guy there he was the same guy every time I interacted there he was great he was actually really nice and helpful On camera420:46
  • Ubers are like $11-15 to the parks land much quicker than the shuttle they provide (times are trash for that as well). 19
  • This is a good option for groups looking for two sleeping rooms. We experienced very good service at DoubleTree. 6
  • Pillows and linens were comfortable. 6
  • a table with four chairs like you said the pole I like the table I will say that table was nice to have On camera412:52
  • and then this is the sleeping chamber we've got two nice big beds I don't know if they're coin size and I don't know there there yeah they're too clean On camera153:18
  • Stayed there about a year ago it was nice clean rooms plus free cookies. 19

  • The complimentary offering is pretty good but you can upgrade your breakfast to include bacon, sausage, omelettes, and a few other add ons for $5 per guest. 10
  • The Evergreen Cafe just off the lobby is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We enjoyed a full breakfast buffet during our stay and it was delicious. 1
  • One amazing option that provides good food as well as entertainment is the Benihana Steakhouse and Sushi where the chefs perform and cook in front of you according to a 1,000 year old Japanese recipe. 13
  • Stayed there a couple times with no complaints. Pretty large rooms and free coffee in the morning. 19
  • With all of that being said, it's not really a complaint I had with our stay. We gladly payed the $5 a couple days of our trip to start the day off right with a good breakfast and the staff at the dining location is exceptional. 10
  • The American Kitchen Bar and Grill provides excellent table service dining for less than you will pay at the Walt Disney World table service restaurants. 13
  • The dining options stand up well here. The pool bar provides typical light meals and bar food. 13
  • From the spacious, welle equipped suites to the convenient Disney good neighbor perk and all the on-site amenities like the pool, splash pad, playground, and dining options. This hotel really makes it easy to relax and enjoy your Disney vacation. On camera118:24
  • We love how many dining options are available and the fact that there are two heated pools for guests to enjoy. 13
  • A great benefit at the Holiday Inn is the kid's pricing. Kids 18 and under stay for free in the same room as their parents. Up to two kids 11 and under can eat for free per adult ordering from the main menu in any on-site restaurant. 13

  • Some of the rooms and suites can be specially selected to provide a gorgeous view of Disney Springs. 13

  • The heated pool, children's pool, and whirlpool spa are moderate in size; a minus is that traffic noise from Interstate 4 can be heard faintly from the pool deck. 9
