  • The bathroom was really clean, which I think if the bed is comfy and the bathroom is clean, that's a sign that I'm going to enjoy my stay. 44:24
  • Stayed there for a day (few hours) when returning from a cruise and had an evening flight. It was good for a nice hot shower and nap but anything longer then a few hours or the convenience of being inside the airport I would rather stay in Miami. 1

  • In addition, there's a free airport shuttle, an excellent free hot breakfast, a pool and Jacuzzi, an on-site restaurant and bar, and an excellent, 24-hour fitness center. 23
  • Dinner: absolutely fantastic. We were thoroughly surprised a sports bar had such high quality offerings like red snapper and fajitas. Huge portions and extremely tasty. 13

  • One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its prime location. You are situated just minutes away from the bustling Miami International Airport, making it an ideal home base whether you're arriving for a long vacation or catching an early flight. 180:28
  • I like the Hampton Inn & Suites Airport South Blue Lagoon. 5 min uber from the airport (they also have a shuttle), walking distance to a Publix for last minute essentials, and most importantly-extremely clean and awesome staff. 1

Noise

  • Thinking that it's at the airport, you might be concerned that it would be very noisy. But look here at the window. Not only are there two sets of curtains, one is a blackout. Then you can open these up and see that the window is double pane. There's a big huge gap in the middle that helps to soundproof it. 44:59
  • Stayed at Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon recently. Clean, quiet. 11

  • We used Lyft to get to the port and the price was under $20. Our room was clean and very well maintained. 12
  • For families and travelers on a budget, the value proposition here is hard to beat. Children between the ages of 1 and 17 can stay free of charge, which can significantly lower your total travel costs. 18

  • Our room was clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed the free evening reception and the free breakfast. 12
  • Guest reviews give good marks for the breakfast, helpful staff, and proximity to the airport 17
  • Actually the staff were all very nice. I was there for two weeks for business and everyone working there was extremely friendly and professional. 11
  • "Amazing trip. Very kind people and professional staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also is very safe. Food is delicious !!!!" 14
  • The shuttle was very reliable and the drivers were extremely nice and helpful. 12
  • The staff were all very courteous and helpful. 13
  • The evening reception wasn't much - just carrot and celery sticks, cornchips and dips. 12
  • "Everything was amazing!! The crew was friendly and fun. Best trip everWe had the best time and partied hard great crew participation" 14
  • Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport provides the reliable service and convenient features you need for a smooth trip. 18
  • The beds were okay - the kind of soft that comes from being worn vs made that way - but the pillows were square like throw pillows and collapsed once I put my head on them. 13
  • Sometimes hotel lotions are not very good, but this one not only smells good, but it feels really nice on your skin. On camera44:50
  • Huge portions and extremely tasty. Our server was also very friendly, had a great sense of humor and made great recommendations on drinks and food. 13
  • 5. General manager Jacques Clavel said to call him, but he wont take my calls, and wont return them. 5

  • Stayed there for a day (few hours) when returning from a cruise and had an evening flight. It was good for a nice hot shower and nap but anything longer then a few hours or the convenience of being inside the airport I would rather stay in Miami. 1
  • Also, while the sink provided water pressure strong enough to overwhelm the drain, the shower pressure was pretty bad and I'm certain it was because the shower head had a strong buildup of calcium or lime. 13
  • The bathroom was really clean, which I think if the bed is comfy and the bathroom is clean, that's a sign that I'm going to enjoy my stay. On camera44:24
  • The bathroom was a good size for the room but we realized there was no toilet paper holder and (as seen in the photo) the roll is just housed on the shelf over the back of the toilet. 13
Food14 mentions · 1 filmed
  • Our room was clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed the free evening reception and the free breakfast. 12
  • Lobby is very spacious. It includes breakfast hot/cold foods with lots of seating. The cruise port is very close too. 1
  • It's true that it is isolated, not in walking distance of any stores or restaurants. We had lunch at the on-site restaurant and it was good, but pricey. 12
  • Stayed at Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon recently. Clean, quiet. Breakfast was ok, nothing stellar. 11
  • Hampton Blue Lagoon has reliable shuttle and a bunch of nearby restaurants (including fast food if you have kids). 5

  • Breakfast was good, a nice variety of food. 12
  • Hampton Blue Lagoon has reliable shuttle and a bunch of nearby restaurants (including fast food if you have kids). Quieter since it is in the middle of runways and farther away. 5
  • here's a view in the morning of the breakfast area which does get a little crowded so it was a little hard you have a larger family to find seating together On camera94:24
  • Embassy suites have an evening happy hour and better breakfast. If it's just a place to sleep before your cruise, I'd say it's a toss up. 5
  • The breakfast was the same "hot continental" buffet we're used to - scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, waffle maker, pastries and toast, cereals and a few beverages. And it wasn't very good. The bacon was limp, the sausage cold and nasty, the eggs meh. 13
  • Not a great hotel but acceptable for a short stay. It was super convenient to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee in the morning at the Dunkin Donuts in the terminal as it is close to the hotel entrance. 1
  • 3. The restaurant tried to blatantly over charge us, and it took 45 minutes to get a manager to fix it. 5

  • We recently stayed at the Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon and found it very nice. Being by the lagoon is much nicer than stuck by the airport. 5
  • Now, because I came into Miami in the evening and I'm leaving this morning on a cruise, I stayed in the Miami International Airport Hotel. And it was so convenient to not have to go out into the traffic, figure out a place to stay, go somewhere last night and then to the shy this morning. On camera41:31
  • One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its prime location. You are situated just minutes away from the bustling Miami International Airport, making it an ideal home base whether you're arriving for a long vacation or catching an early flight. On camera180:28
  • I was most excited by this hotel because it was surrounded by lots of food and Walgreens or the like were not too far to walk to. I still say it's good for that. 13
  • I like the Hampton Inn & Suites Airport South Blue Lagoon. 5 min uber from the airport (they also have a shuttle), walking distance to a Publix for last minute essentials, and most importantly-extremely clean and awesome staff. 1
  • I like the Hampton Inn & Suites Airport South Blue Lagoon. 5 min uber from the airport (they also have a shuttle), walking distance to a Publix for last minute essentials, and most importantly-extremely clean and awesome staff. Reasonably priced in my experience. 1
  • Since it is close to the airport, you do hear the roar of planes taking off and landing. 12
  • Haven't stayed there for a long time because too many other, nicer hotels have popped up. Google has 5,683 reviews and the average is only 3.6 out 5. Not Good. Plus I think the location is bad. 20
  • The hotel airport shuttle leaves the hotel every hour on the hour and hit arrivals about 20 minutes after the hour. Didn't like that it's such a long wait but we were fortunate in that we got our luggage close to the top of the hour and therefore waited 'only' 30 minutes. 13
  • Downtown is only 12 minutes away by road, with a 20 minute journey from the hotel door to Port Miami and Dolphin Mall, making it a well-placed base for exploring the local attractions. 17
  • The double tree in Doral is very very nice! Highly recommended! Close to the airport, free parking if needed, solid breakfast, nice pool. 11
  • They also serve soda, no voucher needed. It's true that it is isolated, not in walking distance of any stores or restaurants. 12
  • I would stay there again. It's been a few years but I recall the hotel being somewhat isolated, with no nearby options for dinner other than delivery pizza or Chinese. 12

  • So when I entered the room, my room is on the fourth floor. You can see it's not very spacious, but it's modern and clean. On camera42:21
  • The bed was very comfortable. You can see the room is spacious enough and it has all the amenities that you would want in a hotel room, a basic hotel room. On camera43:01
  • The cleanliness of the room wasn't awful but I said something along the lines of "this is the dirtiest clean room" because there was mild staining on the duvet, a pillowcase, armchair, and curtains, and there were 4 strands of hair still stuck on the shower walls. 13
  • You can see the room is spacious enough and it has all the amenities that you would want in a hotel room, a basic hotel room. There's a desk with this comfortable swivel chair. In fact, it matches my shirt. On camera43:03
  • Great for families and groups -- all 318 guest rooms are one-bedroom suites that sleep up to six people (given the extra pullout sofa bed). 23
  • On first impression it was tight. The two double beds leave barely a walking path from the door to the window and the only space to store suitcases was the entryway. 13
