  • Stayed at Homewood Suites. Nice place and the location was great. Breakfast was good too 3
  • Menus are often very limited, though. 7
  • According to their website their rooms don't offer a microwave, but if you pay a higher rate items can be brought to the room. $25 for breakfast seems pretty steep. 5
  • I choose to stay at the HI more often because of the free breakfast. In addition to the normal offerings, they usually have something hot - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast, etc. 6
  • 回复 共享 bradrlaw • 2年前 Just stayed at DT in Orlando and it was good. Just stayed at DT in Orlando and it was good. Breakfast in particular with made to order omelets. 7
  • That adds ups quickly. They also charge for breakfast! I'm surprised they don't nickel and dime you more with an attendant at the pool selling swimming tickets, charge for ice and god help you if you want clean towels. 5
  • The food itself was the exact same as at choice (though I will admit the quality of the actual cooking at choice free breakfast can vary quite a bit). 5
  • Room and staff was awesome and so was the restaurant highly recommend.... 11
  • Yea my wife and I stayed at a cambria, and its basically what you said, maybe a step down, and business otiented. But everything was fancy and we got upgraded to their best room, ritzy bar, good food, felt hoppin. 5
  • And you had a host that you were expected to tip for saying "sit anywhere you want" and "how's the food you got from the buffet," I mean the guy was super nice and hard working and I was happy to tip him like 40%, cuz of all the crap he was taking from the other customers (one guy walked out cuz they wouldn't make him a personalized egg white omelet). 5
  • The restaurant exudes modern Southern charm with jaunty striped chairs in dusky purple and blue, fluted drum chandeliers, and crisp white tablecloths. 12

  • I didn't like the HGI so much, tiny rooms, weird parking, location just OK. 3
  • The Bluff is close to waterfront but kinda off to the side a bit. Location okay but not great. 3
  • The Hampton Inn is NOT a usual Hampton Inn. Very nice decor and good location. 6

  • The showers at the double tree in St. Louis are the worst the front desk people are the slowest , no Carter load or unload your luggage no vending machines just a little place beside the check in desk with the worst selection of food or snack , no juice , no snacks , no chips they taste good but mainly it's the shower barely enough water pressure to get wet ! 7
  • The staff was very nice and accommodating. I really appreciated the hospitality. 11
  • I mean there's a bar, the staff seems a little more seasoned and professional, and the building seems a little better maintained, but I'm paying double just for the room what I could pay for a quality inn, even without my friends and family discount. 5
  • But the worst part of it was that it looked like the cleaners had little attention to detail. All along the wall where it meets the carpet was dirty and needed a good vacuum. 11
  • Hard to rate. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and big enough. 5
  • The staff was extremely polite and helpful so I would rebook just for that fact alone but if I ended up in another room that wasn't swept well I'd probably drop my rating to 3 stars and not return. 11
  • The lobby area is nice - honor bar, fireplace, very helpful conceirge, popcorn in the afternoon. 6

  • My initial room was a king bed and the room was nice but the AC didn't work. 11
  • Room and staff was awesome and so was the restaurant highly recommend.... 11
  • The sofa/desk area was far enough away from TV that the baby could sleep. We loved watching from our window, the Air Force fighter jets practing. 11
  • The second room with the smaller bed, was still nice looking with working AC. But it didn't have a view like my initial room and I couldn't even pull the blinds up, I think because of the lack of view and natural lighting. 11
  • The room was rather dark because of this but I wasn't there enough to complain. 11

Noise5 mentions
  • The HGI is right on Bay St, which can get loud from partiers, but if you are looking for that environment then maybe it is a better location. 3
  • Lots of noise from busy street in lower-floor rooms (earplugs provided) 12
  • Half of the hotel faces out to the large pool area which can be so noisy from daylight until after ten. Those facing the pool, all, will never know quite. The design causes a huge echo and you can hear everything, every conversation, every child scream. 5
  • Rooms are equally sharp, with attractive gray-scale wall art as well as flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. However, some get so much street noise that earplugs are offered. 12
  • But, some reviews note that noise from other rooms can be an issue. 4
