The verdict

Who's travelling?

Pick a traveller type to re-weight the scores and re-rank the rooms around what you actually care about.

Read it your way

Set along Liberty Station, this hotel features renovated rooms and waterfront views of downtown San Diego. Guests enjoy the outdoor heated pool, fire pits, and free airport shuttle service. However, nearby airport noise can bother light sleepers, and the on-site Bistro can be slow during peak hours. 3131611

  • Guests appreciate the outdoor heated pool area, bike rentals, and nachos by the fire pit. 13169

The catch

Skip it if

  • Light sleepers sensitive to airport noise

  • I should note, about a year ago, I tried to use my anniversary night at a reasonable looking Residence Inn in Sacramento. Upon arrival, it was in a very seedy part of town. 5
