Read it your way

Built in 2018, this 19-story property offers modern, quiet accommodations a short walk from Gare de Lyon and Austerlitz Station. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, friendly front-desk service, and effective soundproofing against outside noise. However, reviewers note that windows do not open, leaving rooms feeling stuffy without constant air conditioning, and some report stained towels and worn chair upholstery. 519158

  • Stayed here in March - will be my new go-to at CDG, for sure. Nice upgrade, quiet and clean room, great bed, and wonderful staff. 11
  • Check-in: exceedingly friendly staff, perhaps too much for my taste (they tried to show me how to use the elevator). Can't fault them for that though. Very smooth, the lady I talked to was at least trilingual (heard her handle English, French, German). 6
  • The hotel seems very new, everything was clean and nice looking, and the staff were helpful and relatively friendly. 6
  • The check-in agent spoke sufficient English for us to be able to communicate. 4
  • The employees encountered were friendly, and the only time we had a service request was on the first night when we opened up the sofabed and discovered that the bedding was dirty with food crumbs everywhere and certainly had been used but not replaced. I called the front desk and thankfully they sent someone within minutes to replace the bedding. 5
  • I appreciated the quick response time, but considering it's a Family Room, I feel that housekeeping should always be checking the sofabed bedding after each checkout. 5
  • I just traveled over from the u.s. via Charlotte and I they were nice enough to let me in the room by 9:00 a.m. so you can't really beat that On camera121:50
  • My only gripe was the chair was kind of uncomfortable, a low-backed riff on the Jacobsen egg chair that everyone has ripped off for the past 50 years. 6

  • very friendly at the the front desk On camera123:43

  • Webby Guest May 26, 2025, 10:40 am Stayed here last fall and was pleasantly surprised. We decided on a last minute trip to Paris and it was the cheapest nice option and was easy to get into the city via the train - though long. 19
  • The staff was over the top awesome. Everyone is friendly. 7
  • The check-in process for my standard room was seamless thanks to the help of the friendly and enthusiastic front-desk staff. 10
  • The staff greeted us warmly and got us sorted in no time, which was a relief after a long trip. On camera140:18
  • For what it's worth, I stayed at the Residence Inn next door and breakfast was spectacular, service was friendlier than I expected and the room was quite convenient. 19
  • The TV had a screen share function which was nice for streaming from your phone. 5
  • Two of my friends arrived earlier in the day and left their bags with the hotel as the hotel said that early check-in wasn't available which was a bit of a bummer. 5
  • Here we have the safe box. Okay, it's quite big, so you can fit a laptop in here. This is very nice. On camera32:13
  • Unfortunately, some of the towels had noticeable stains. 5

  • Not the best sofa bed, but certainly not the worst. There was also a table with spinning chairs. The spinning chair could use some reupholstery as it was ripping. 5
  • I thought the restaurant's decor looked cute. 5
  • I can't speak for the "regular" rooms, but I found the size of the family room to be quite decent, especially for Europe. 4
  • Bed seemed standard, sofa was comfy, bathroom was standard. 6
  • Room: Large, mine had a nice view of the station. 6
  • The room boasted a reasonably comfortable king size bed. While the pillows weren't quite as big as I prefer, I also recognize that I was staying at a Courtyard, and not a St. Regis, so that's fair enough. 19
  • The room was definitely on the small side, which made it a bit cramped, especially for two people. But hey, it's Paris. On camera144:07
  • join us as we give you a brief tour of the Courtyard by Marriott Paris gardil Young the courtyard is a four-star 19-story hotel built in 2018. our room is located on the 16th floor and features spectacular views including soccer core 15
  • The new modern rooms were a plus, and the Family Room was a good size for Paris standards. 5
  • Wi-Fi in the room was fast and free. 19
  • and you know otherwise this this is not too bad room seems plenty pretty clean so no complaints On camera123:27
  • Based on European standards, more sober and more restricted than in North America, this family room was nevertheless more than sufficient for this short stay where the view, as well in the evening as when waking up in the morning, seemed to me very pleasant. 9
  • My only minor complaint about the room is that there was no way to crack open the window, so the room felt a bit stuffy. Fortunately the air conditioning worked really well, especially for Europe. 19
  • Courtyard rooms are known for being basic, but I found this room to be comfortable and quite nice. 19
  • The room was pretty cool with a large, comfy bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. On camera140:39
  • Considering the rather high rate, by North American standards, we might be tempted to expect more service and quality in our room amenities. However, in the context of Paris, this remains a good option. And what about the view on Paris! 9
  • For what it's worth, I stayed at the Residence Inn next door and breakfast was spectacular, service was friendlier than I expected and the room was quite convenient. 19
  • As an aviation geek, my favorite part of the room was the views of the airport. Okay, the views weren't quite as good as from the Sheraton connected directly to the airport, but they were still pretty great. 19
  • Based on European standards, more sober and more restricted than in North America, this family room was nevertheless more than sufficient for this short stay where the view, as well in the evening as when waking up in the morning, seemed to me very pleasant. And what a pleasure, albeit at the cost of a slight stiff neck, to see the Eiffel Tower from my room! 9
  • The bed was comfortable though I heard that the sofa was not great. 4
  • The room just didn't feel particularly cozy, and cleanliness could have been improved upon. 5
  • The website lists the room as being 27 square meters (291 square feet). I did like how new everything felt, but it did give a bit of sterile vibes. So, both a pro and a con. 5
  • Turning left, the room had a king-sized bed, as well as a built-in luggage rack. My friends said the king bed was fine, with no issues. 5
  • It featured a king bed; a small round table that could double as a desk; and soaring windows across the far wall that framed an expansive - and impressive - view of the city and, at a distance, the Eiffel Tower. 10
  • Stayed here in March - will be my new go-to at CDG, for sure. Nice upgrade, quiet and clean room, great bed, and wonderful staff. 11
  • The hotel room, although basic, is pretty fantastic. You get a nice-sized room. Hotels around Europe are usually pretty small. Many hotel rooms are so small your door hits the wall as you enter, followed by a bed/closet with a tiny restroom. Therefore, this felt massive. 13
  • the room did not feature any dresser so closed storage is pretty minimal and was limited to pretty much the closet On camera151:38
  • Overall, it had all the essentials, but I definitely missed having a coffee maker in the room. On camera141:00
  • Towards the window was a sofa bed that turned into a queen-sized bed. I had the sofa bed and it was sufficient for a sofa bed. Not the best sofa bed, but certainly not the worst. 5
  • Again, this is the room from this side. The beds are quite soft. The mattresses, I like them. On camera32:39
  • i love the hotel it has a great design the rooms are actually quite spacious for a european room it is clean and very secure it also is in a nice location and i just really love the hotel and i would definitely stay here again 2
  • The room was small for American standards but plenty big enough for our family of 4. 4

  • When it comes to food, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast at CitizenM Paris Gard DeLeon. They serve a buffet every morning that's pretty impressive with a good mix of hot and cold options to fuel your day of exploring Paris. On camera141:38
  • The breakfast buffet was decent - it was nothing special, but for Europe, was sufficient. 19
  • With the exception of not eggs cooked to order, the breakfast buffet is as good or better than the Sheraton inside CDG and as good or better the Marriott located off-airport on the other side of Roissy. 11
  • The meal was pretty great, though way too much food. 19
  • For what it's worth, I stayed at the Residence Inn next door and breakfast was spectacular, service was friendlier than I expected and the room was quite convenient. 19
  • the restaurant is clean spacious modern and features a seasonal menu On camera152:25
  • As for the Kitchen & Bar restaurant, a drink was offered to Elite Marriott members. A small gesture well appreciated. 9
  • The restaurant area is nicely appointed, and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 19
  • The bar/restaurant in the lobby was great. 7
  • I particularly enjoyed the barista made coffee, which was a nice touch, especially after a long night. On camera141:53
  • The contemporary space offers all-day dining and provides a hip, welcoming option for those who just want to hang out, sip a coffee, eat a snack or work for a bit. 10

  • Given that the Courtyard Paris Gare de Lyon was less than a 15-minute walk from the Austerlitz Station, it was the perfect location for this trip. 5
  • The Courtyard Gare de Lyon is located in arrondissement 12. That might seem pretty far away, but because the city is one giant spiral, it's actually right next to arrondissement 4. So it's not far from the gay mecca. 13
  • Only downside is the walk from the CDG-Val if it's raining, but I'd walk in the rain. 11

  • The Marriott Courtyard Paris Gare de Lyon is located at 209-211 Rue de Bercy in Paris, directly across the street from the Gare de Lyon train station. That makes it quite convenient, since it has easy access to both the 1 and 14 Metro lines, as well as the RER A and D trains and many other local and longer-distance trains. 4

  • I stayed there once because I had a free night, it was fine. It was a nice hotel. I did not like the location and I would not go back. 21
  • this hotel is a great location as with most areas in Paris this hotel has a huge variety of cafes and outdoor eating areas all around it is located in an area that is close to public transportation and walking to most areas On camera201:49
  • In terms of location, it's hard to get more central in Paris, as this hotel is 5 km from the Louvre Museum and a 3-minute walk from the Gare de Lyon. 9
  • The location of the Citizen M Paris Gardelion is just perfect. It's literally a stones throw from the Gardleó train station, making it super convenient for getting around the city or catching a train to other destinations. On camera141:08
  • It is also quite close to the Gare du Lyon stop (per the hotel name) which made it easy to hop on the metro 6
  • The hotel is also ideally located for tourists. All metro lines are within walking distance of the hotel, and you only need to cross one street to enter the Gare de Lyon station. 8

  • In terms of the view, the room was booked as a "Parisian View". We overlooked the city with the major focal point being a building under construction which was a bit depressing. But, we did have a peek-a-boo of the Eiffel Tower which was nice. 5

  • I booked my stay at Courtyard Charles de Gaulle Airport with cash, as the rate was €134. I thought that was reasonable, and it was a bit cheaper than the adjacent Residence Inn. 19
  • Although one can compare and find the distinctive elements of a Courtyard hotel in North America, I still notice that the rates charged are much higher than for similar hotels in cities like Montreal, Toronto or even New Yorkwith rooms starting at more than 249 € per night on weekdays. 9
