The verdict

Who's travelling?

Pick a traveller type to re-weight the scores and re-rank the rooms around what you actually care about.

Read it your way

Located in the middle of Whistler Village, this property offers spacious suites with equipped kitchens and balconies within easy walking distance of local spots. Guests regularly highlight the welcoming service and functional room layouts that include desks and streaming connections. However, the hotel lacks a full restaurant and only provides a lobby coffee cart with limited morning hours. Some bathrooms are noticeably small, and guests placed above the pub or near busy hallways report ambient noise. 2019511

What travelers noticed

  • Reviewers consistently praise the central Whistler Village location, which allows guests to park their cars and easily walk to restaurants and the market. 11
  • The front desk and hotel staff are repeatedly described as kind and welcoming, even surprising guests with complimentary room upgrades. 11
  • Suites offer practical living setups with comfy beds, flat-screen TVs, and convenient HDMI cords for laptop streaming. drawn from the full read

The catch

  • While several guests highlight magnificent mountain or picturesque village scenery from their balconies, others found their views obstructed or limited to the woods. drawn from the full read
  • Noise levels depend heavily on room placement: guests tucked at the end of hallways enjoyed quiet nights, whereas rooms near large party suites or directly above the pub heard evening noise. drawn from the full read

  • The Perk & Pedal is the official name for the coffee cart in the front lobby. While I appreciate the hotel offering food onsite, this really isn't in line with Marriott standards. 19

  • But compared to the Westin and Hilton, which can generally be booked in a similar price range, it's hard to truly recommend the Delta when it doesn't offer breakfast for elite members, and the other two have such prime locations. 17
  • The 'office space' was a bit makeshift, but it was certainly better than having nothing. Also on the desk were some Canadian wine options which were quite overpriced. 19

Service12 mentions · 1 filmed
  • "The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the central location meant I could walk everywhere with ease." 11
  • As such, it's a bit far away from the Gondolas and mountain access. There is a shuttle that runs frequently, so you can avoid the long walks in snow gear. Usually, the shuttle doesn't stop at Blackcomb, but if you ask nicely and it's not busy, the friendly drivers are happy to make the detour. 19
  • Then, upon check-in, the friendly associate from New Zealand asked us if we would like a further upgrade to the Two-Bedroom Suite. 17
  • "The pool was a lot of fun, our rooms were clean and spacious and the staff, Laura and Karen especially, made our stay a great one and we can't wait to come back in the fall." 11
  • "Places always clean staff is always friendly." 11
  • So, moving on over to the living room kind of area, we do have a nice TV. I don't know, could be a around a 50-in TVish. On camera162:20
  • It's quite rare that I'm simply asked straight-up at the front desk whether I wanted a free further upgrade from an existing upgrade, and I naturally said yes, feeling quite impressed with the hotel's generosity for elite members. 17
  • A nice addition is the robes, which aren't something we always see at Delta properties. 19
  • Arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a helpful concierge who took my bags on a dolly for me. 19
  • Přístup personálu na vynikající úrovni. Děkujeme. 1
  • In a world where great customer service can sometimes feel hard to find, this hotel truly went above and beyond. The staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, accommodating, and memorable. 1
  • "Housekeeping is always top notch mind when I come back from work my room is always as new." 11

  • "The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Whistler Village, making everything from restaurants to activities easily accessible." 11
  • The Delta is located in the 'new' village that was part of the expansion for the 2010 Olympics. As such, it's a bit far away from the Gondolas and mountain access. 19

  • Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have a relationship with the restaurant attached to the building, and there's no club lounge, so the Marriott Bonvoy elite breakfast benefit is quite weak. 19
  • The Perk & Pedal is the official name for the coffee cart in the front lobby. While I appreciate the hotel offering food onsite, this really isn't in line with Marriott standards. 19
  • Unfortunately, it wasn't all good news. We were also informed there was also no breakfast for elite members, which was a major disappointment. 17

  • As far as room size and quality go, the 1 Bedroom Suite at the Delta Hotels Whistler Village Suites was the best room we had during our hop around Whistler hotels. It's newly renovated, and very well done! 19
  • Between the luggage rack, drawers, and closet, there is plenty of storage. 19
  • The check-in area is nicely decorated with some modern art of mountains, a large sitting area, and a designated Marriott Bonvoy member check-in desk. 19
