The verdict

Who's travelling?

Pick a traveller type to re-weight the scores and re-rank the rooms around what you actually care about.

Read it your way

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Whistler provides spacious suite accommodations in the upper village near the Blackcomb base. Guests appreciate the full kitchens, cozy gas fireplaces, and mini jacuzzi tubs for unwinding after skiing. However, storage is tight on extended trips due to a lack of dressers or armoires, and bathrooms miss out on having a second sink. 1210

Every line below traces back to something a traveler actually wrote — open a line to read the original sentence and follow it to the source.

What travelers noticed

  • Guests consistently praise the roomy suite layouts equipped with comfortable king-size beds, gas fireplaces, and full kitchens with laundry. 10
  • Bathrooms feature soothing mini jacuzzi tubs and standard Peter Thomas Roth toiletries. 110
  • The location earns high marks for being within easy walking distance of the Blackcomb chair lifts and village restaurants, with a free shuttle stop across the street. 26

The catch

  • Opinions are divided on the breakfast buffet, with some guests enjoying the omelette station, bacon, and fresh fruit, while others consider the meal weak and overpriced at $40. 1
  • Reviewers also disagree on value, noting peak ski season rates can feel pricey while others appreciate having plenty of space for a decent rate. 1

Who it's for

  • Skiers wanting walk-to-the-lifts convenience
  • Families needing full kitchens and in-unit laundry
  • Couples seeking in-room jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces

Skip it if

  • Extended stays requiring large dressers or armoires
  • Travelers who require double bathroom sinks
  • Guests seeking an inexpensive breakfast buffet

  • Bath amenities were the standard Peter Thomas Roth at most Hilton hotels. They don't inspire strong feelings from me, and they seem to do the trick. 1
  • I felt the same way about the bathroom. It had some extra features, like a separate bidet and a bathtub that converts to a Jacuzzi, but I think it would have been more useful to add a second sink. 1
