Graduate By Hilton Dallas features playful collegiate decor with design Easter eggs like mustang wallpaper alongside cozy rooms and artsy public spaces. Visitors highlight comfortable beds with silky-smooth sheets, Malin & Goetz bath products, and a location near the George W Bush Presidential Library Museum. However, guests report severe frustration when maintenance issues like a non-functional air conditioning unit occur and staff fail to provide room changes or prompt repairs. 69710

  • The burger at the restaurant there was terrific. If I ever get back to Ann Arbor, I'd have it again. 2

  • I got the chance to visit Graduate. It is gorgeous. Look at the decor, I love it! 1
  • Even if you didn't graduate from SMU, you can appreciate the design Easter eggs that make up the playful yet high-end decor in the guest rooms. I loved both the subtle details (mustang wallpaper, horseshoes carved into the writing desk) and more obvious nods to student life (a pennant-shaped "Do Not Disturb" sign, a Scantron look-alike for the customary notepad). 6

Bathroom4 mentions
  • The shampoo and conditioner bottles are attached to the shower walls and smelled okay. 7
  • The bathroom was clean and to my surprise had a tiny bottle of lotion and a small bar of soap. 7
  • Easy Netflix streaming, silky-smooth sheets, and Malin & Goetz bath products round out the pleasant experience. 6
  • And there's both a large bathroom mirror and a well-lit vanity mirror, a fantastic amenity for female travelers. 10
Service7 mentions
  • The interior design was quite nice and aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. 7
  • The eco-friendly hotel enjoys an unbeatable setting in the very heart of Dallas, merely 0.7 miles from George W Bush Presidential Library Museum. 9
  • The staff at the hotel were the nicest and most professional I have ever met. The front desk man is a very good employee who always greet you with a smile and the room service lady was very sweet. 7
  • The Virgin Hotel lacks a proper front desk, but there is a staffer who greets guests upon check-in and provides all the necessary information for a quick, seamless arrival. 10
  • Throughout our interactions, the receptionists started off friendly, but their attitudes shifted dramatically once a problem required actual resolution-revealing a troubling pattern in the hotel industry where properties prioritize retaining revenue over guest satisfaction, offering lip service without follow-through. 7
  • Look for the framed bio at check-in that shares the staff member's hobbies and favorite subjects-an unexpected "small-town" touch that also serves as an entry point for conversation. 6
  • The rooms are pretty standard in size and look similar to those in San Francisco and Chicago, but there are quite a few features that show the design team's attention to detail. 10
Room8 mentions
  • The rooms are furnished with elegant furniture. 9
  • The primary problem arose in our king suite: the air conditioning unit was completely non-functional, failing to provide any relief in Dallas's sweltering 85-90 degree heat. 7
  • I got the chance to visit Graduate. It is gorgeous. Look at the decor, I love it! 1
  • Once again, no real action was taken: no technician was sent, no room change was offered, and no meaningful compensation was offered, only lcomplimentary items from their convenience store to even out having no ac in dallas weather, this is ridiculous. 7
  • The hotel is nice, but the room I was in had a weird layout in that the bathroom door would slam into the room door. 2
  • My room was the 1 King bed corner room on the 15th floor. It was fairly small but, very cozy with the heater on against the cold November temperature. 7
  • I recently stayed at the one in Iowa City, IA. It was fun. The room was a little rough, like it had seen too many frat parties but the experience was memorable. 2
