  • I also really appreciated the whirlpool bathtub. So many hotel bathtubs these days are way too small for a comfortable bath, so I thought this one was outstanding. 4

  • While its large size makes it devoid of the intimate character and charm I prefer in a Caribbean luxury hotel, the staff are amiable, the amenities are plentiful, and it is close to the airport and many popular attractions. 20
  • A set of stairs brought you from the ground floor up to the second floor, where the lobby is located. There's a pretty stunning ship facade at the center of the stairs, although I thought it would have looked even more impressive if the waterworks were on. 4

  • Once we got to the Marriott they were waiting for us at the front desk and instantly knew who I was when I gave them my name. We had been upgraded to an oceanfront room which was amazing and quite large. The six of us fit in there with no problems bumping into one-another, etc. 15

  • So, one of the great things about this Marriott is it's a resort. That means there's a beach, lots of pools, swim-up bars, gyms, casinos, and great restaurants. On camera101:26
  • Any inputs? Its really quite nice-- infinity pools, nice restaurants, really great spa. I didn't do a day pass here but did stay a few nights. 3
  • Mediocre fare at hotel restaurant (typical of Marriott chain) 7
  • I recall the seafood restaurant being pretty good too. 17
  • This big, bustling beachfront resort offers something for everyone from families to conventioneers, golfers to gamblers. It's overscaled for tiny St. Kitts and somewhat lacking in West Indian charm and flair, though at least dining outlets have started incorporating more local ingredients and recipes. 13
  • The onsite restaurants are fine and reasonably diverse though nothing was spectacular. 14
  • The best part of this area was the takeout pizza place. The pizza's here are amazing. They have been written about on other travel sites so it was great to be able to experience them ourselves. It is open into the night so we had pizza from there for dinner on 2 different evenings. Highly recommended. 1
  • Our stay at the St Kitts Marriott resort was rather great. There are many facilities that you can use to vary your experience, and so many different food options that you cannot go wrong trying a different place each night. 1
  • While there, I sampled from the Taste of St Kitts menu, which included the Nevis Farm Greens for an appetizer, the Frigate Bay Reef Lobster for the main, and the banana bread pudding for dessert, all of which I would recommend. 20
  • As a beach club person I didn't get the free breakfast either, but it looked tasty. 17
  • Pool service and food were also good. 17
  • Relative to Carribean standards, we thought the food and service in the Marriott's steak restaurant and Italian restaurant were both great. 17
  • We visited Marriot in April and had an amazing day...the free beach pavilions were nice (photo taken from the water line), my daughter enjoyed the water (though it is NOT calm) , the pool is fabulous, and we enjoyed the restaurant (amazing coconut shrimp!). 3
  • We grabbed breakfast at Calypso a few times, and it was relatively affordable - expect to pay about US$10 per person for takeaway food and US$15 per person for a sit-down meal. 4
  • The restaurants and bars opened at 11:00 a.m. We walked over to get some pizza for lunch...it was expensive and terrible. 9
  • Small cute casino. A number of good restaurants on property. Outstanding pools and pool bars. 21
  • Set on the southern part of St. Kitts just a mile north of Frigate Bay, the Royal St. Kitts Hotel offers travelers prime access to the adjacent St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino's 18-hole championship golf course, as well as Frigate Bay's shops, restaurants and beaches. 19
  • We were given continental breakfast vouchers which we used on a few mornings. Rather pleasant, you have a choice of 2 dishes with tea, coffee or juice which are brought to you. With a croissant the meal was sufficient for our needs. 1
  • Good food and drinks but pricey. 3
  • And one morning, I was able to have a hearty Kittian breakfast with saltfish, plantains, johnnycake, and breadfruit, which I had to admit were a little dry. Everything else, though was super delicious! 20
Service17 mentions · 1 filmed
  • Friendly, attentive service for a large resort 7
  • The Marriott was very friendly to me. I did call them ahead of time and arranged to spend the day there. They were ready for me when I arrived and even gave us an ocean view hotel room to use for the day. 15
  • A nice comfy chair with table and footstool is handy. 1
  • Either way, the proximity, the property and of course the staff made it worthwhile! 22
  • Every single employee from maids in the hallway to the door man in the casino who wished you luck every time you entered, the bar tender at the pool bar, the towel hut ladies, etc. was friendly, smiling and welcoming. 15
  • As we drove up to the entrance, the doorman was quick to extend a warm Kittitian welcome and usher us into the vast reception area. 20
  • Rooms were clean and comfortable, and staff was really helpful. 17
  • People are super friendly and the property is close to many different amenities. 21
  • Check-in happened in a matter of minutes, and I was pleased to hear that by joining the Marriott Rewards program, I would have access to complimentary wifi. 20
  • The staff everywhere at the resort was incredibly sweet and helpful. 6
  • you can see very nice place check in desk here they got the casino which makes it even more interesting beautiful views looking out On camera180:39
  • Housekeeping leaves glasses and dishes in hallways for days. 5
  • Upon our arrival at the resort, a friendly bellman helped us with our bags and directed us to the queue for check-in. 4
  • The pool is beautiful and the Marriott employees very friendly. 9
  • After checking in, a very helpful porter showed me to my room, located in the middle of the third floor of the main building, which has five levels in total. 20
  • Pool service and food were also good. 17
  • The grounds are beautiful, staff friendly. 9
Bathroom8 mentions · 2 filmed
  • The bathroom was spacious with a shower/tub combination, toilet, bidet, washbasin, and a large mirror with a hairdryer to the side. 20
  • The bathroom area was spacious and well-designed as well, with a mirror and sink on the outside of the bathroom. 4
  • The bathroom's gorgeous. It has that Caribbean feel, but yet it's kind of modern. On camera100:42
  • I also really appreciated the whirlpool bathtub. So many hotel bathtubs these days are way too small for a comfortable bath, so I thought this one was outstanding. 4
  • and with our bathroom I like the big counter space that's nice couple little shelving units down there On camera236:07
  • Great bathroom facilities at the Marriott. 9
  • Handy body lotion, shower caps, soap and makeup cloths are also provided which is nice. 1
  • The shower is in the bath. For a week long stay at a holiday resort I would think a proper shower would be required. 1

  • The St. Kitts Marriott is located on the windward east coast of the island, near Frigate Bay. It's a hot spot for dining and nightlife, and is also host to plenty of outdoor activities such as snorkeling and kayaking. 7

  • The Park Hyatt is a true 5 star resort (with pricing to match) but it is worth it. 3
  • I stayed on the less expensive side recently. Rooms were nice and clean and staff was great. 12
  • We are paying $75 for a room for the day which they are allowing 6 of us to share. And we are entitled to use all of their facilities. We figure $12.50 per person for the day is a bargain - and the Marriot told us that the cab ride was $2.50 per person. 15
  • The restaurants and bars opened at 11:00 a.m. We walked over to get some pizza for lunch...it was expensive and terrible. 9
  • Good food and drinks but pricey. 3
  • I used points for the stay, but I wouldn't personally pay full price for this location. 12
  • If you have 4-5 people in your group I would not only consider a day room, I would do a day room same price altogether you get a nice room for the day to keep your stuff and go and get out of the sun for a few it's nice, only way to go 4 or more. 3
  • Yes, food and drinks were a little high priced but very average for a resort. (Actually I think they were more expensive in San Juan.) 15
  • Cost for the Marriott was more but the chairs were much more comfortable. 9
  • Restaurants were OK but expensive except for the pizza, which was quite good. 17
  • The pictures of the resort looked beautiful, and I LOVED the price point of $59 per person with children under 13 being FREE. 6
  • I was impressed with the cocktail quality and the price point of $10.90 per drink. 6

  • A large flat-screen TV was mounted on the wall in front of the bed. There were also lots of electrical outlets, which made it easy to charge my laptop, phone, and camera batteries at the same time. 20
  • Once we got to the Marriott they were waiting for us at the front desk and instantly knew who I was when I gave them my name. We had been upgraded to an oceanfront room which was amazing and quite large. The six of us fit in there with no problems bumping into one-another, etc. 15
  • Guys, today we're in St. Kitts and we're staying at the Marriott and we have a one-bedroom suite. First impressions of this place, it's massive. You could easily fit a couple families in here, really. On camera100:00

  • So, you walk down here, you have a nice little closet. It's massive, as well. On camera100:31
  • This is thanks mostly to grounds' very updated look: paint and masonry look fresh, and the spacious rooms have flat-screen TVs and plenty of natural light (though decor is generic). 13
  • The air-conditioned room itself was around 475 square feet, with a very comfortable king-size bed with plush pillows along with a couch and lounge chair. 20
  • There is plenty of room to spread out not only in the resort area itself, but in the rooms. Our one-bedroom villa was well equipped and gave everyone in the place ample room top spread out and get their relaxation on. 22
  • the balcony is kind of nice good size but we do share it with our neighbors next door so if we had a connecting room would be kind of nice 23
  • My room has a maintenance issue and it's been two days of begging to get facilities to even look at it. 5
  • Thankfully, Ashmo at the front desk was excellent and quickly informed me of the correct room number, Room 1108. 4
  • First up, let's talk about the rooms. Or should I say the royal villas. These aren't your average hotel rooms, folks. We're talking about some seriously swanky three-bedroom bungalows that'll make you feel like Caribbean royalty. On camera160:23
  • We loved it there. We did a room for the day @ $125 and loved it. It was nice to have a room to escape back to during the heat of the day. 3
  • The room is pleasant as Marriott rooms go, nothing exuberant but sufficient for our holiday needs. 1
  • Kitts Marriott Resort - Garden House King Room Our room was excellent. Our room was excellent. It was very spacious and featured a king-size bed, a table, and a lounge chair. 4

  • On checking in at the hotel I got the feeling that my Marriott Platinum status did not mean much at this hotel. We were given a room facing the island, not the sea, and it was on the left side of the hotel above the restaurant/bar which has live music most evenings which can be rather disturbing. 1
  • Quiet also. We got the pizza which wasn't bad. 9
