Food26 mentions
  • Guests at the Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel typically have a more consistent and positive experience. The hotel's modern amenities, varied dining options, and excellent service contribute to a high level of satisfaction. 9
  • The real cheat code we figured out was ordering from the staff and not getting eggs from the buffet. Fresh chilaquiles and fried eggs were much better than what was laid out. 12
  • Having the lounge access was clutch too. We'd start our day having breakfast (they have a nice spread with good variety) and then explore for the day. 12
  • The hotel's Ristorante Amici is a chic space for a meal with attractive hardwood floors and handsome furniture, while the Club Lounge is equally stylish, though far brighter, with marble floors and vibrant contemporary art on the walls. 5
  • I just stayed there this past summer. The lounge breakfast was vast with so many options. Awesome location too!! 12
  • I don't mind this hotel, but I honestly found the lounge breakfast extremely disappointing. The mexican options were generally fairly bland. The western options were not great. 12
  • Well, no upgrade and no high room with a view. At least they did have an awesome Nescafe Milano machine that served free coffee all day - including the "good stuff" like vanilla lattes. 16
  • Great service, did the free breakfast with my status one morning and it was pretty solid (didn't come here to eat hotel food so didn't bother taking advantage every day). 10
  • Attached restaurant was great with different food. 11
  • Dinner consisted of sandwiches every day and very little hot food, and not many options for vegetarians. 17
  • Nice restaurant for delicious meal. 11
  • On one hand, the location of the hotel and food and service at the Sheraton Club Lounge were excellent - perfect for my first trip to Mexico City. 16
  • The breakfast was delightful, there were fresh meats, bread and fruit. 11
  • Staff was serving the food from behind glass partitions due to Covid procedures. Both evening snacks and breakfast were good. 10
  • On the positive side, the hotel's location and the food and service at the Sheraton Club Lounge are highly praised. 9
  • The food, both breakfast and evening snacks, were nice 10
  • We had breakfast here every morning and they had plenty of different options. They also had snacks and evenings food options too which came in clutch. 12
  • Perfect breakfast and VEY GOOD location, excellent wi-fi. 11
  • Always a fan of Italian food, I dined at the cozy Ristorante Amici, where a view of the Angel offered the perfect backdrop for delicious pasta al dente, robust Chianti and a decadent tiramisu. 18
  • Perfect food, honest staff, exceptionally comfortable beds. 11
  • And while the hotel offers three restaurants, along with two bars, past patrons suggest skipping the pricey plates for the more affordable fine-dining establishments along the Paseo de la Reforma. 7
  • I don't mind this hotel, but I honestly found the lounge breakfast extremely disappointing. 12
  • Breakfast was the same every day, and it wasn't until the last day that we learned that we could have had made-to-order omelets. 17
  • The lounges internationally at Sheraton are 100 better than in the USA and this one's no different. We had breakfast here every morning and they had plenty of different options. They also had snacks and evenings food options too which came in clutch. 12
  • I do believe the breakfast is better, but also even if you disagree, you're surrounded by decent panaderias and coffee shops. Which is the great thing about the 4 points is that you're already in a vibrant lively neighborhood. 12
  • Breakfast takes the form of a rather varied buffet: chef-prepared omelettes, quesadillas and other Mexican dishes, and much more. I particularly liked the Muesli! 13
Service31 mentions
  • Concierge, Room Service, Housekeeping: Attentive staff in these areas contribute to the overall guest experience. 9
  • Positive Feedback: Guests frequently praise the hotel's central location, friendly staff, and proximity to landmarks like the Angel of Independence. 9
  • The hotel staff was smart indeed. 11
  • Breakfast was the same every day, and it wasn't until the last day that we learned that we could have had made-to-order omelets. There was not enough seating; the space was small and loud, and the staff was friendly but didn't seem like there was enough for the number of people. 17
  • The staff was dedicated, nice service. 11
  • The area is better, IMHO. However, it is also a good hotel. It had a recent renovation during covid, so everything is nice and new. 12
  • Guests at the Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel typically have a more consistent and positive experience. The hotel's modern amenities, varied dining options, and excellent service contribute to a high level of satisfaction. 9
  • The Marriott is renowned for its professional and courteous staff, with many reviews highlighting their responsiveness and attention to detail. 9
  • On the positive side, the hotel's location and the food and service at the Sheraton Club Lounge are highly praised. However, issues such as cold showers, poor front desk service, and billing errors have been reported. 9
  • Guests at the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel often appreciate the hotel's central location and the comfort of the beds and bedding. However, the experience can be marred by issues such as the cold water problem in the showers and less-than-ideal front desk service. 9
  • Recently did four nights in Mexico City at the Sheraton Hotel. I was celebrating an anniversary with my partner and the service from the staff was top notch. 12
  • Corona and wine served to your table, the staff are very attentive and as soon as one beer is finished they bring another one. 10
  • On the other hand, the front desk staff was cold, the room - although it came with very comfortable bedding, had an ice-cold shower (others seemed to have this issue as well - see reviews of Hotels.com, etc.). 16
  • Compared to the Marriott Reforma this was a step down in terms of quality and service. 17
  • The service was very friendly though. We did get a huge suite with two bathrooms though. It was, like yours, an older suite. 12
  • The Sheraton is known for its bilingual staff and attentive service. 9
  • My go to in Mexico City. Great location and great service 12
  • Particularly helpful staff made our stay truly memorable and the service was brilliant. 11
  • I don't mind this hotel, but I honestly found the lounge breakfast extremely disappointing. The mexican options were generally fairly bland. The western options were not great. The service was very friendly though. 12
  • Very quick check in and smooth check out. There were light and light rooms with cozy beds. 11
  • I travel quarterly to CDC for about 10 years and always stayed at the Marriott in Polanco. Great service, super lounge and Polanco is very safe with many great areas to step out in. 12
  • Perfect food, honest staff, exceptionally comfortable beds. 11
  • Very quick check in and smooth check out. 11
  • On the positive side, the hotel's location and the food and service at the Sheraton Club Lounge are highly praised. 9
  • The service was very friendly though. We did get a huge suite with two bathrooms though. 12
  • I have found the lounge staff to be some of the best of any mid-range SPG/Marriott property anywhere I've stayed. 10
  • The nice Mexican snack thing was a great touch. 10
  • On one hand, the location of the hotel and food and service at the Sheraton Club Lounge were excellent - perfect for my first trip to Mexico City. 16
  • The staff is nice. They forgot to service my room today, but housekeeping came immediately when reminded. 10
  • Service overall was quite good. They do give you a $0 check to sign and add your room number to at the end of both breakfast and the evening snack. 10
  • Absolutely perfect staff, large bathroom, quiet bed. 11

  • Loved the location. Our room "upgrade" wasn't much of one but given the holiday weekend and a busy hotel I can understand not getting a suite. Just wish it had been a king bed vs two fulls. 10

  • Comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom. 11
  • Only minor complaint was the shower. The water wasn't as hot as I'd like it about one third of the time. The shower head also tended to soak much of the bathroom regardless of what I did with the curtain. 10
  • Bathrooms have bidets and bathtub/shower combos, and though sinks are exterior to the bathrooms in some rooms, vanities are spacious. 5
  • The biggest problem I ran into with this hotel was the shower. The first morning, I had to let the shower run on "hot" for about twenty minutes before it turned from ice-cold to warm. This occurred at 6 am. 16
  • In-Room Amenities: Rooms include ergonomic desks, iHome radio alarm clocks, comfortable seating, and generally comfortable features. However, some guest reviews mention issues with shower temperature control as a significant drawback. 9

  • If you're planning a trip to CDMX soon and are a typical platinum elite member like myself, I highly recommend staying here. Not only is it affordable (if you book early), but the service and location is great. 12
  • it was a classic hotel, we really loved it. there was sevilla subway station at a short distance from the property, that's great. 11

  • On the positive side, the hotel's location and the food and service at the Sheraton Club Lounge are highly praised. 9

  • The Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel is a favorite of Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Mexico City. It's perfectly located and reasonably priced (whether in points or dollars). 13
