Room4 mentions
  • Not a bad evening. We stayed in the newer wing of the hotel where the rooms have air conditioning. It's a bit removed from the main part of the hotel but our room was huge and we had a great view of the lake. 14
  • We stayed 2 nights at the Fairmont Lake Louise 2 weeks ago. Was worth it on my opinion - had a fantastic 2 days, great meals in Fairview and Walliser Stube (both with front row window views) and enjoyed being able to do the hikes around lake Louise without needing to worry about parking or shuttles. 14
  • A perfect anniversary stay! Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious, cozy, and fully equipped. 18
  • Inside each room is tasteful mountain decor, such as pinewood beds and a wood fireplace. 6
Food13 mentions
  • The restaurant on site was quite good and had a good variety of food options and was reasonably priced for the National Park location. 18
  • The lodge features plenty of woodwork, classic mountain decor, a massive wine cellar, a fireside lounge, a library, and a full-service spa. It's regarded as one of Canada's finest luxury hotels, and its dining experience is well celebrated. 6
  • When we were there last week, we saw grizzly bears walking around the grounds from our balcony after all the people left. It was so cool. The restaurant in the lodge is really good too! 14
  • To add the restaurants/bar are also a part of the experience too so that would also cut into your overall budget and they get pricy. 14
  • Lake Louise Inn is a solid choice, with a good on-site restaurant if you want a convenient meal. 18
  • I say go for it and book dinner at Walliser Stube for a really fun fondue dinner.
  • Enjoy delicious local meals in one of the three restaurants. 17
  • Both hotels offer high tea, a pretty fantastic weekend brunch as well as all the luxuries you could want in a 5 star hotel stay. 16
  • Food prices are reasonable and the selection across all 3 restaurants is brilliant. 18
  • Very nice pool area with jacuzzi etc. Restaurants were also very good. Would definitely stay there again. 2
  • The hostel features Bill Peytos Cafe (one of the best Lake Louise restaurants!) and two large communal kitchens. 6
  • Many rooms have some magnificent views from private balconies, perfect for a morning coffee. 6
Location6 mentions · 1 filmed
  • The location is absolutely unbeatable. You are incredibly close to everything with the Lake Louise Visitor Center just a short walk away. On camera130:11
  • I personally prefer Mont Royal hotel because it locates in heart of downtown on Banff Ave. Ski shuttle bus stop is right behind that hotel. 16
  • The location is in Lake Louise village, a couple minutes drive to Lake Louise and the Lake Louise Ski Resort. There are not many frills here, but it's clean and offers plenty for a comfortable budget stay. 6
  • The amenities are solid, and it's really close to the lake. A reliable and pleasant option for anyone visiting Lake Louise. 18
  • Great quiet location within walking distance to the visitor center, shops, and dining. Highly recommended! 18
  • Great Central location to explore this region of Banff National Park. A short walk into the village shops and stores in a lovely location with mountain views. 18

  • 10/10 Excellent and professional staff, and clean rooms. 18
  • Situated on the Bow River, the 4-star Post Hotel Lake Louise has faithfully served guests since the 1940s. Guests here can expect wonderful service in an ideal setting near Lake Louise Village. 6
  • Moraine Lake Lodge may be set in the most scenic setting for a lodge in the entire world, right on the shores of Moraine Lake. It's an incredible location for a lodge that delivers high levels of service. 6
  • Staff are friendly and super helpful especially June!! We upgraded to a king size bed in main block and it was lovely and cozy. 18
  • The rooms are comfortable and well-kept, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. 18
  • Staff are friendly and super helpful especially June!! 18
Value12 mentions
  • Prices most times feel downright excessive, and it likely fetches some of the highest room rates in all of Canada. 6
  • Food at LLI was fine, if slightly expensive due to exchange rate, portions far too big! 2
  • Food prices are reasonable and the selection across all 3 restaurants is brilliant. 18
  • The hotel also runs a shuttle up to Moraine Lake for hotel guests only. You have to book it in advance and they'll charge you but it was very convenient and made getting to and from Moraine Lake simple. 14
  • I think it's worth staying there because obviously you're right on the lake and have access to the lake, trails and parking. 14
  • Prices most times feel downright excessive, and it likely fetches some of the highest room rates in all of Canada. You're paying for the location here because the rooms are nothing to write home about, and the service is lacking at the price point. 6
  • One thing I will mention is that there is a lot of construction going on at the front (lake side) of the hotel. The crews were going pretty heavy by 8:00 and the noise was considerable. Enough to where I told my wife that I would be pretty upset if I paid all that money just to listen to the noise. 14
  • The Lake Louise Inn offers some of the best value among traditional hotels in Lake Louise. 6
  • Of course, for the level of service, quality of accommodation, including food, and free activities the hotel regularly sells out. This means that room rates can be very high in peak summer months. 6
  • We just did a trip to Banff/Lake Louise/Jasper with 2 nights at the Fairmont in Lake Louise. I think it's worth staying there because obviously you're right on the lake and have access to the lake, trails and parking. 14
  • Complimentary bicycles are also available, making it easy to explore the town. This is a good-value option in a popular area of the Rockies, offering varied room types to suit families and groups of friends. 17
  • Skoki Lodge is immensely popular and books quickly - even with the high price tag. 6
Noise2 mentions
  • Like others have said, the construction was loud and annoying. We were also considering staying there and when we visited the lake, we rejoiced that we didn't spend the $$ because of the construction. 14
