Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok delivers contemporary rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, deep soaking bathtubs, and custom Simmons mattresses. Dining stands out across the property, from the extensive Stock.Room breakfast buffet to cocktails at the 40th-floor Bar.Yard. However, guests note that reaching the nearest BTS SkyTrain station at Chit Lom requires a 15-minute walk, and corridors outside the rooms lack air conditioning. 19271612

  • Opposite the washbasin, separated by frosted glass panels, is the toilet and right next to it, separated by clear glass, is a really impressive large shower with care products consisting of body wash, shampoo and conditioner from the Harrn brand, which smelled really great and are highly recommended. 27
  • The big bathrooms are a treat: decked in white marble, with rainforest showers and fragrant bathroom amenities from local Thai brand HARNN. 14

  • The hotel has a massive breakfast buffet, featuring separate stations for Thai food, Chinese food, Korean food, Arabic food, Indian food, and also lots of typical Western breakfast fare (pastries, yogurt, cereal, pancakes and waffles, tons of tropical fruit, etc). There was also an option to order an egg Benedict. Again... I'd never seen anything like this. 9
  • The breakfast buffet - at Stock.Room on the 5th floor - was the most impressive part of our stay! They serve a massive spread of Thai and Western foods and several Chef-staffed cooking stations, inspired by the streets of Bangkok. 12

  • While its location may deter those who seek immediacy of access to the famed Ratchaprasong shopping district, the lifestyle hotel has so much going for it, from the gorgeous Manhattan loft-esque stylings of the guest rooms to the warm fuzziness of heart the animals on the ground floor will no doubt make you feel. 23

  • Rooms lean into a cocooning aesthetic, tactile materials, layered lighting and excellent soundproofing thanks to triple-glazed windows that shut out the city's nocturnal soundtrack. 22
  • The hotel's social atmosphere, including the lively rooftop bar, means noise levels can be higher than at more traditional luxury properties. 13

  • First, at check-in, my friend and I were upgraded from a standard twin room (the lowest tier they had) to a two-bedroom suite on the 29th floor. In addition to the two bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), the room had a huge lounge. a full kitchen, a third half bathroom, and a washing machine. Hands down the nicest hotel "room" I've ever set foot in. 9
  • We stayed in the Two-Bedroom Family Suite, and it was perfection. Think: chic design, plenty of space to spread out, two (and a half) bathrooms (🙌), and thoughtful kid-friendly touches like a tent set up in the family room, tiny robes and slippers, and even a backpack full of surprises. 18

  • Arrived at 12:30 pm but couldn't check in until 3 pm, which was unfortunate for me after over 24 hours of travel. 15
  • Stayed in the Kimpton Bangkok and found the entire hotel squared away. Very impressed by the room, service, food, views etc. 9
  • The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly and well trained. Our waiter would have been more New York in attitude, but he still did a really profess 27
  • I don't know about the upgrade specifically but I will say they were super quick and nice on email when I emailed them to ask to have my IHG number added to the reservation. 9
  • they do have a shuttle that will take you to the BTS (seemed to potentially be a bit of a pain though because you have to reserve an hour ahead, or at least that's what the front desk said when we checked in) 9
  • Add in brilliant staff and their stylish pool and this hotel has to be one of the top picks for luxury hotels in Bangkok. 25
  • Service strikes the right tone: warm, unpretentious and informed. Staff are as happy recommending neighbourhood hangouts as they are explaining the breakfast options. 22
  • Another noteworthy mention goes to the bathroom amenities. I did not spot the usual shaving kit in the drawer, but in replacement of it is a long list of complimentary amenities available upon request. I thought that this is quite a smart way to provide service, and it also avoids wastage since some of the guests do not even usually use any of the amenities kit. 3
  • all the amenities are horn this this smells very nice and if you forgot something or if you want any other stuff for example deodorant feminine hygiene products hair bands makeup remover everything is here you can just call them 5
  • oh no this very big mirror very big one it's so cool especially that you know you have a very nice light here you can you know touch up and see your word like what you're wearing like before you go On camera59:10
  • The reception staff quickly handled our booking, and we were pleased to wait only about 15 minutes. They explained the room details and escorted us to our room. 26
  • Service is fantastic at this hotel, with joyous smiling staff who can't do enough for you. 25
  • Kimpton strives to be your 'home away from home' and, with excellent service, thoughtful comforts and a stack of style, Kimpton Maa-Lai certainly hits the mark. 14
  • it's also nice that i think from the hotel side the windows are closed so if you want to get sometimes fresh air like currently we are in early december and actually outside is very pleasant it's cool thigh winter but if you want to get that here in residences have this balconies 29
  • For newer hotels I tend to excuse service hiccups such as those we had at Four Seasons one week prior to our stay at Kimpton, but the service at Kimpton was thoroughly excellent at every interaction with staff. 1
  • The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotions were full-sized HARNN bottles. However, they were not replenished during the morning and evening housekeeping services, and we had to ask for refills twice, only to have the shower gel refilled. We were dissatisfied with this aspect of the service and hope for improvements in this area of housekeeping. 26
  • The service at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok for me has been consistently good at various touch points of the property. 3
  • High number six, shuttle service to Chit Lom BTS. Remember that location downside? Here's the fix, and it's a good one. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service to Chit Lom BTS station. On camera1610:44
  • The staff were always ready with smiles, stickers, or snacks - it truly felt like a family-first hotel, without sacrificing an ounce of luxury. 18
  • We received a very warm welcome on arrival and our suitcases were unloaded from the car, double-checked that there were only two of them, and then found their way to our room with the bellboy. We were then escorted to a seat in the lobby where we were checked in by a very friendly member of staff. 27
  • The staff were generally good, and the service initially met expectations. 26
  • Service at Kimpton Maa Lai is attentive and personalised, reflecting the global brand's ethos of providing an inclusive welcoming atmosphere. 11
  • The staff were generally good, and the service initially met expectations. However, the major disappointment was with housekeeping, as they failed to refill the shampoo and shower gel despite two requests. This is unacceptable for a 5-star luxury hotel. 26
  • ThreeDogsZA • 6mo ago you'll love it! you'll love it! beautiful hotel and the staff is so nice. 9
  • As you would expect, the Kimpton Maa-Lai also offers a really excellent turndown service. Hotels can really make us happy with this - it's not a big deal, but I think it really makes a big difference! 27
  • The check-in process was quite efficient for me, and it did not take too long before my room key was ready. 3
  • Was upgraded before even mentioning the proposal, but they definitely went the extra mile after I had mentioned. Received Towel Swans, sweets, and a congratulatory note. 15
  • Has anyone extended late checkout as a DA? The hotel isnt fully booked per website and gave excuse no late checkout lol. 15
  • Then, if you proceed, you can actually access the large bathroom from this two as the bathroom has an entrance near the entrance as well as near the bed. We were celebrating my mom's birthday, and they provided plenty of sweets & balloons, which was a nice and elaborate touch! 4
  • Again, the staff are extremely friendly and well trained. 27
  • Friendly housekeeping staff offer a nightly turndown service in coordinating with the hotel's bakery team, offering a selection of Thai delicacies which rotate each evening so you have something special to savour before bed (like Thai iced tea kits or stick rice wrapped in banana leaf). 2
  • Well equipped, quiet rooms, options for internal dining, decent coffee, helpful staff 21
  • second morning (we are not regulars at this hotel!), but it was clear that staff were always trying to anticipate guest needs and address them proactively rather than wait for requests. 1
  • The staff is friendly, and one can easily pick up a conversation with them. 28
  • Service follows the Kimpton brand philosophy of warm, personalised hospitality without the rigid formality of traditional luxury hotels. Staff remember your preferences and genuinely engage with guests. 13
  • The reception is buzzing. The kind of place guests want to hang out in, to see and be seen in. 7
  • One thing I quickly noticed was how attentive the staff was, and that started as we walked through the front doors for the first time. While the lobby was busy, that didn't get in the way of a warm welcome. 12
  • The setting's calm, the service is attentive without being hovering. On camera1613:25

  • Ms. Jigger Cocktail Bar & Restaurant on the ground floor - Pretty posh and well decorated, didn't end up going there this time 1
  • Planned to propose to my girlfriend at Lumphini park and had a dinner reservation with family at a restaurant around LangSuan so this was the ideal location for me. 15
  • The dining concepts are interesting, while the facilities are great for a boutique hotel brand. 3

  • Breakfast at Stock.Room is legendary and rightly so. Part grocerant, part food hall, part theatre, it's an unapologetically extravagant affair. 22
  • Only the breakfast could be more relaxed - otherwise a perfect place to start your Bangkok trip! 27
  • The park-side location, standout breakfast, serious wellness offering, and lived-in rooms make it one of the city's most complete creative-class hotels. 22
  • The café menu is quite extensive as well with a mix of local and international daily specials, including freshly baked pastries, light bites and more. 3
  • The coffee selection is amazing with local Thai single origin and blends. 3
  • The design of the restaurant was quite inviting and attractive as well. 1
  • Well equipped, quiet rooms, options for internal dining, decent coffee, helpful staff 21
  • The selection of food is so extensive, it'll take you twenty minutes to discover what's on display - a cornucopia of global offerings. 7
  • Stayed in the Kimpton Bangkok and found the entire hotel squared away. Very impressed by the room, service, food, views etc. 9
  • We ordered room service a couple of times and while the dishes were good, what was the most remarkable was how generous the portions were - bigger than most hotel room service choices offered by competitors. 1
  • AVANT is an intimate fine dining restaurant on the 30th floor of the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok offering spectacular views. 2
  • I've been to more than 150 countries and to this day, I still think of how wonderful that breakfast buffet was at STOCK ROOM. Not only were there tons of variety but the presentation and quality of the food were quite impressive. 4
  • in the morning head to stock room this is the hotel's absolutely end of this world breakfast buffet I feel like it has over 10 different stations On camera109:21
  • The lunch buffet is a more intimate affair than breakfast, but what it trades in scale, it more than makes up for in focus. The spread leans into fresh seafood, carefully selected Thai dishes, and a dessert selection that deserves its own camera time. The quality here is genuinely impressive for a hotel buffet. On camera1613:04
  • Stockroom is a playful neighbourhood buffet concept, open for all-day dining and Sea+Land Dinner feasts. It's where guests gather each morning for an impressive all-you-can-eat breakfast. 2
  • Overall, I had a great stay at the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok. The service is top-notch, breakfast is great, and rooms offer a comfortable experience. 4
  • Up on the fifth floor, all-day dining venue Stock.Room buzzes at breakfast; its buffet spread offers an extensive range of Thai dishes and international fare. 19
  • The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, though the food wasn't particularly outstanding. The taste was above average, with a greater focus on quantity over quality. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience overall. 26
  • The fun tiki bar drinks menu is perfectly paired with finger-licking-good American backyard barbecue and Tex Mex favourites. 2
  • Dinner at the rooftop Bar Yard restaurant had great views and great food. Wished they were open for lunch. 15
  • Personally, the music was a little too loud for us to have a relaxed conversation while we ate, but the food was all the better for it. You can really get a first class Italian meal here if that's what you're in the mood for in Bangkok. 27
  • The resort is extremely beautiful, cosy, and comfortable, with delicious food. 28
  • Either way, don't miss Social Hour at the poolside bar, where in-house guests come to stave off the heat and sip a complimentary Aperol Spritz or Dark'n'Stormy in the late afternoon. There's a good variety of international cuisine across Kimpton Maa-Lai's restaurants. 14
  • i had never seen a breakfast buffet like that. crazy! 9
  • CRAFT's impressive menu features a selection of All Day Breakfast dishes (Shakshuka, Seafood Omurice, Kaprao Wrap), Healthy Bowls (Grilled Halloumi Salad, Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl, Vietnamese Rice Noodle Salad), Sandwiches (Cubano, Reuben, Chicken Guacamole Club), Tidbits (Duck Confit Taquitos, Lillipop Chicken Wings), and Dips (Hummus, Za'atar Labneh). 2
  • At Ms. Jigger Chef Davide Caló celebrates the Venetian snack tradition by pairing mouth-watering Italian dishes with the restaurant's exceptional Narrative Cocktail menu. 2
  • h a la carte and buffet options all day. This is where the buffet breakfast is served in the morning. The selections were quite plentiful and tasty. 4
  • Dining options are creative and well-executed, with a menu that celebrates local Thai ingredients. 13
  • Regarding breakfast itself it was a combo of buffet and a la carte. There were a few interesting dishes and drinks with a good balance of western and Asian choices, there was even a mini Arabic station. 1
  • The Italian restaurant Ms Jigger is located at the back of the lobby on the ground floor and is quite cool, hidden behind a draped curtain. However, it also has a proper bar and a really nice green outdoor area. 27
  • A vegetarian or vegan can happily eat here without worrying about their food preferences. There is a live egg station where you can order the eggs you want. As well as fresh bread and a dessert counter with divinely fragrant croissants, fruit danish and cakes. 28
  • The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, the pool's wonderful, the food, especially that seafood buffet and the breakfast buffet, are genuinely brilliant. On camera1616:38
  • I go American diner style and opt for black coffee, and buttermilk pancakes with butter, bacon and maple syrup. It's a winning combination and I add an Indian Summer to the mix which is a juice containing orange, carrot, lime, ginger and turmeric. 7
  • Lunch at Stock Room, the same restaurant which serves the breakfast buffet, was okay but we were only one of two tables occupied that I saw. 15
  • Stock Room located on level five is where the daily breakfast is served, and I kid you not, the breakfast spread is amazing. 3
  • Bar.Yard Rooftop bar - Casual bar and restaurant with a nice view of Bangkok and a BBQ themed menu (prices very reasonable IMHO) 1
  • Agree! Also was upgraded to a 2BR suite. I could stay at breakfast all day though 9
  • and that actually the best part is not in this room but what really enjoys is the breakfast on the fifth floor which has great options and especially if you like like the chia seed puddings and whatever not the healthy options they have plenty of those as well so that's also probably one of the nicest breakfast experiences in the town On camera177:37
  • Love this hotel catsboots_ • 6mo ago I just stayed here two weeks ago and used my Amex FHR benefits and was blown away. Also got an upgrade to a massive suite, the $100 credit covered lunch upon arrival, dinner and some drinks; the happy hour at the pool was fantastic and breakfast was incredible. 9
  • We're talking a full hot section, beautifully prepared Thai breakfast dishes, alongside all of the Western classics, an extensive pastry and bread selection, fresh fruit done properly, made-to-order options, and the kind of variety that makes you generally indecisive in the best possible way. And the quality holds across all of it. On camera1611:56
  • Crazy they intentionally not take plates so people can leave earlier. This leaves such a sour taste. Breakfast isnt even full. Ive been waiting 25 mins for plates to be removed after asking twice. 15
  • However, most of the breakfast is served as a buffet. The selection itself is really great. There were an incredible 7(!) live cooking stations and a seemingly endless selection of dishes spread around the different rooms. The food was really good and everything was available and fresh right up to the last minute. 27
  • Breakfast buffet was incredible with a wide variety of cuisines. It was better than many other hotels' lunch and dinner buffets. 15
  • High number five, the restaurants. The food and beverage offering at The on-site dining options reflect the same care for design and detail that the rest of the property shows. On camera1610:12
  • Let's talk breakfast. It's epic. Served at Stock Room, the buffet is a wonderland of global flavors - Thai dishes, dim sum, fresh fruit, custom egg stations, smoothie bowls, and the dreamiest pastries. 18
  • High number seven, The Stock Room's breakfast buffet. So right, we need to talk about breakfast because The Stock Room breakfast setting is, without any exaggeration, the best hotel breakfast buffet we have ever had, anywhere in On camera1611:13

  • The Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok offers 360 guest rooms (including 97 serviced apartments). Our Grand Premium Room was 83 sq.m (893 sq.ft), and offered an office space, as well as great views of the city. 4
  • The room is the perfect place to relax in and, like most Bangkok hotels, the view is hypnotic. 7
  • The meticulous attention to detail is evident, from the luxurious bedding to the expertly selected mini bar. 26
  • My room was in the northwest corner and faced the Sindhorn Residences, meaning not much of a view. 15
  • Otherwise I did not have much to complain about, the air conditioning was strong, the bed was comfortable and they delivered a special pillow order to our room before our arrival as per my e-mail exchange with staff before we arrived at the hotel. 1
  • As you proceed into the bedroom, it is very spacious, and there's actually a lot of open space. 4
  • Room was modern and very spacious. 15
  • Bar.Yard's best seats are on the terrace, where a long counter overlooks the cityscape and Benjakitti Park. 19
  • The real highlight of the room, however, is the complete window front that runs the length of the wall opposite the bed. So you can enjoy the Bangkok skyline from your bed. It's really great. 27
  • While we hoped for a suite upgrade, the Premium King Room had plenty of room (over 700 square feet) and was perfect for our stay. 12
  • when I got back to my room after dinner I was really impressed by the turn down service they actually had this beautiful warm bowl it's a foot bath filled with fresh flowers so before heading to bed you can soothe your feet in a floral bath that's what I call extra on point five star service On camera109:01
  • In addition to the two bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), the room had a huge lounge. a full kitchen, a third half bathroom, and a washing machine. Hands down the nicest hotel "room" I've ever set foot in. 9
  • coming in and see how this room looks like the room I would say is quite big it feels nice and neat and fresh it smells fresh as well On camera50:22
  • Each room comes with a Vifa Helsinki sound system and silky robes by Christian Develter for Tube Gallery - not to mention yoga mats, espresso machines and a very well-stocked mini bar complete with a DIY cocktail set in selected suites. 14
  • My room number was 1611 and it has a good garden view which faces the direction of Kempinski. 3
  • Interestingly, I found that the chair was on the wrong side of the table - I would always rather enjoy the view when working than have to look into the room and at the wall. 27
  • So, I was genuinely surprised to find that the hallways outside the rooms had no air conditioning. You step out of your beautifully cooled room and walk into what can only be described as a tropical corridor experience. On camera164:47
  • Additionally, the room was well-maintained and clean, showing minimal signs of wear and tear. 26
  • we got this time the room 11 10 which is one category upgrade from the standard deluxe room into a premium room coming in and see how it looks like so it's very spacious and the hardware quality looks good On camera80:16
  • The automated curtains system is almost a must for me these days in all new luxury properties, and the ones here are double layered, hence the room is completely blackout once the curtains are drawn down. 3
  • The sky-scraping height of the hotel offered us fantastic views of the city (even from the comfort of our bed, thanks to curtains that open at the touch of a button). 11
  • The prize jewel in Kimpton's crown, the two-bedroom Bill Kimpton Suite offers 320 sq m of pure luxury, with a whirlpool Jacuzzi and a large private balcony. 6
  • The premium room on the 20th floor offered breathtaking and delightful views of the distinctive architecture of Kempinski Bangkok and the city skyline of Bangkok. 26
  • What gives this one special resonance is the size of the windows which you look through whilst lying in bed. It's like having your own private widescreen cinema with curtains which open and close at the touch of a bedside button. 7
  • The Terrace is really popular place for a date night with Gorgeous views On camera1011:43
Bathroom19 mentions · 3 filmed
  • Elsewhere, the spacious white marble bathroom offers double vanities, an oversized bathtub, a sleek Dyson hairdryer, colourful and eye-catching bathrobes from Belgian artist Christian Develter who specialises in portraits of Asian women (one is depicted on the robes) as well as luxurious bathroom amenities from Thai spa brand HARNN. 23
  • The big bathrooms are a treat: decked in white marble, with rainforest showers and fragrant bathroom amenities from local Thai brand HARNN. 14
  • An iron board was provided, and this room featured a Dyson hairdryer, which is always a nice touch. 4
  • the shower booth could fit the full family it's really big it has the rain forested and the shower handle 8
  • At the very end of the elongated room is a bathtub, which really scores points with bath salts and its own seating area. So much space in one bathroom. Insane! 27
  • Opposite the washbasin, separated by frosted glass panels, is the toilet and right next to it, separated by clear glass, is a really impressive large shower with care products consisting of body wash, shampoo and conditioner from the Harrn brand, which smelled really great and are highly recommended. 27
  • The huge bathroom with dressing room in front is just as long as the entire room, so it really is extremely spacious. 27
  • A walk-in wardrobe leads to a spacious bathroom made of bright, shiny marble. 7
  • The bathroom was the star of the show as it was huge and could almost be a hotel room in itself. There was a large standalone tub, along with a sitting area, and bath salts were also provided. 4
  • they highlight at least for me of this room would be the bathroom I really love it it's nice and bright but firstly let's save it for last On camera50:34
  • The only quirk that I found with the bathroom was a slight mildew/bathroom smell. 4
  • Bathroom was as huge as reviews say and photos show. We soaked in the bathtub every day. 15
  • The views were stunning, and the marble-covered bathroom added a touch of luxury. 26
  • Major downside was the floor drain in the toilet stall had an incredibly foul odour pretty much from mid morning til midnight. 15
  • High number two, the Dyson hair dryer. Small thing or big thing? The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is in the bathroom and it should be industry standard everywhere, at least according to my wife. On camera168:47
  • A stand-alone bath accompanies a shower with a calming rainforest shower head and gels and hair products are supplied by the Thai-based Harnn. 7
  • Kimpton Maa-Lai is very proud of its bathrooms, so it's worth us mentioning them. Ours was a serene, white, contemporary space with the very best in bathroom tech and amenities: like Haarn cosmetics, exclusively designed for this Kimpton, colourful robes by Christian Devleter for Tube Gallery, and a bath bomb menu. 11
  • I'm staying in one of the hotel's fabulous Suites it's got a little coffee and tea Nook as you walk inside you'll see the bathrooms are oversized really huge his and her sink massive mirror like Flor to ceiling White marble a huge C tub a a massive rain shower On camera102:15
  • To be balanced in my review, I must highlight a few points which make me rate this room good but not great: (1) I wish it had hardwood floors rather than carpet, (2) Water pressure in the hand shower was fine but from the rain shower it was weak, and (3) To be considered a top notch suite I am generally looking for 1.5 bath but this room only has the main bathroom. 1

  • skipped the spa because it was so pricey compared to others in Bangkok but good to know for the future that it was worth it! 9
  • We had plenty of options, but certain dishes like the soybean paste soup from the Korean section were quite bland. The congee and some soups weren't hot enough, and the waffles were hard and dry. Aside from these, the rest of the food selection offered good value for money and tasted above average. 26
  • The IHG program can make hotels less competitive for people who stay at many chains, but at least this time I was able to take advantage of the current third night free promotion and IHG Luxury Collection benefits (100 USD credit and free breakfast) which mitigated some drawbacks and made our stay good value for the money. 1
  • Bar.Yard Rooftop bar - Casual bar and restaurant with a nice view of Bangkok and a BBQ themed menu (prices very reasonable IMHO) 1
  • And the price point relative to what's on offer represents real value for the property at this level. On camera1613:30
  • For the price paid at a 5-star hotel, we received good value for money. 26
Bed & Sleep6 mentions · 2 filmed
  • From the plush bathtubs to soak in after a long day out in Bangkok city, or the uber comfortable beds to nap, Kimpton Maa-Lai sure knows how to make guests' stay a memorable one. 28
  • s and a perfect duvet. We had a fantastic night's sleep here and didn't want to get up! 27
  • the bed is nice big nice and big I'm not sure this if these are feather pillow I'm not very picky as long as I have many pillow On camera53:45
  • The bed is the kind you sink into and immediately reassess your plans for the afternoon. On camera168:34
  • Otherwise I did not have much to complain about, the air conditioning was strong, the bed was comfortable and they delivered a special pillow order to our room before our arrival as per my e-mail exchange with staff before we arrived at the hotel. 1
  • The bed itself is quite hard (to my liking), which uses a custom-made Simmons mattress with 400 thread count linen. 3

  • Rooms are roomy, extremely comfortable, and carefully crafted, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning views of either the city skyline or verdant park landscapes. 26
  • A lounger overlooks the stunning city view. 7
  • I entered my room located on the 23rd floor and the view of Bangkok skyline from my room made me gasp! 28
  • Served at the 30th floor at the Maa-Lai Library, the "Afternoon Tea at the Library" is the highest elevation afternoon tea served in Bangkok, crowned by a breathtaking panoramic views. 2
  • As well as the wrap-around windows, the library, as you'd expect, is full of literature and cultural touches but guests might be forgiven for honing in, instead, on the spectacular view. 7
  • The Maa-Lai Library is designed to make you feel completely at home and comfortable, and with its spectacular terrace you also have a great view of much of Bangkok's skyline. 27
  • The rooftop bar at Kimpton Maa-Lai is called Bar.Yard and is a garden in the sky with lots of greenery. Here you can enjoy delicious cocktails and refreshments with a fantastic view. 27
  • this is the view as we step through the lobby space there's really beautiful art and sculptural elements within the Lobby On camera100:53
Location15 mentions · 3 filmed
  • now we're going to check out the Malay library located on the 30th floor you're going to enjoy amazing views all over downtown Bangkok On camera106:24
  • The park-side location, standout breakfast, serious wellness offering, and lived-in rooms make it one of the city's most complete creative-class hotels. 22
  • You're on Langsuan Road, in the Lumpini area, which is generally one of Bangkok's more relaxed, leafy neighborhoods. You've got the park nearby, you've got some great local dining within walking distance, and the overall vibe is a lot calmer than, say, Sukhumvit. On camera161:24
  • Kimpton Maa-Lai is centrally located in Bangkok, just around the corner from the famous Lumpini Park. From here you can explore the whole city and reach all the sights easily. 27
  • Low number four, the location. And this is the minus part of it. We touched on this, but let's revisit it. If you're someone who likes to be able to hop on the BTS spontaneously to go to Asoke, to Siam, to On Nut, Phrom Phong, you need to get to the Chit Lom BTS station first. On camera167:32
  • I appreciated the manager's follow-up the next day. There is no question Kimpton Maa-Lai is a stylish and vibrant hotel with an unbeatable location in central Bangkok. 12
  • Like all Kimpton Hotel's, the Bangkok property is very design-forward, implementing awesome art and lush green interiors as an homage to the nearby park. 2
  • I stayed at the Kimpton Maa-Lai, a luxury boutique hotel that is perfectly located along the tourist sites. 28
  • Amid this notoriously traffic-heavy metropolis, Kimpton Maa-Lai's location in Langsuan is pleasantly walkable. 14
  • The award winning 5-star luxury hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok near the city's beloved green oasis, Lumphini Park. 2
  • Situated in the prestigious Langsuan neighborhood, adjacent to Lumphini Park, and next to Sidhorn Kempinski Bangkok, it offers an ideal mix of green spaces and convenient access to the city's shopping such as the Dior gold house and Central Embassy, dining, and business districts. 26
  • The walk to BTS Chidlom takes about eight minutes along busy streets, which can feel longer in Bangkok's heat and humidity. 13
  • The only downside is its location which is a distance from the BTS, but other than that, this is one IHG property to consider for your stay in Bangkok, and it is also quite possibly the best IHG hotel in Bangkok for me at the moment. 3
  • Convivial yet calming, the high-rise Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok puts travelers in a quieter and leafier pocket of the downtown area. 19
