  • Best of all was the bartender allowed me to redeem my free beers coupon at 11:30am Christmas morning prior to the 12 noon opening of the bar. Nothing like a breakfast beer to start the day. 12

  • Hotel Ibis Amsterdam Centre Stopera is a hotel I had not stayed at before, however, its location in the city center, about 20 minutes walk from Centraal Station is a location I was familiar with due to a stay at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam City Hall in January 2019. This location is one I like for its proximity to the oldest parts of Amsterdam. 12

Room

  • Space was an issue in the small room. Apparently we had an upgrade from what I was told at check-in, but that may have only been a better view and not a larger room. 12

Service

  • I had a fantastic experience at the Hotel Ibis Amsterdam Center stop era thanks to the exceptional service provided by Raul his dedication truly embodies the Ibis culture of great service and employees like him should be recognized and valued 41:45
  • my stay at the Ibis Amsterdam Center stop per was fantastic the price was a steal the rooms were clean and comfortable and the nearby shops were convenient plus the easy checkin and checkout process made everything seamless 41:27

Bed & Sleep

85
read from 1 source · Deep coverage
  • The bed was comfortable for sleep, but more like a futon than a bed. I tend to roll around in bed and the thin foamy mattress kept sliding away from the lower bed platform. 12

  • Breakfast offered plenty of food items. Given the 17.50 EUR per person price tag, for breakfast at Ibis Amsterdam Stopera, this extra cost can mean the better value difference in room rate with Holiday Inn Express just steps away on the same side of the street. 12

Which room to ask for

What reviewers say about where to sleep inside this building — by room number where one is named, and otherwise by floor, wing, aspect and position. Every line opens onto the quotes behind it.

No reviewer has yet described a room, floor or aspect specifically enough to act on at this property. Room intelligence appears here the moment they do.

Where travelers agree — and don’t

The topics reviewers split on most. A wide bar means your experience depends on which room you get — or whose opinion you trust.
