  • One of the nice features of the bathroom is that the door opened out rather than in. Quite a few Hyatt Places we've stayed at have doors that open into the bathroom and don't leave much space to enter. 10
  • The shower door leaked, there were no available power outlets in convenient locations and the TV remote (and TV itself) weren't very responsive. 10

  • Lockbox features a menu with a unique point of view, and it's committed to both quality, and supporting regional farmers. Its location simply cannot be beat, as it is located in the heart of downtown Lexington-making it the perfect choice for those who prefer to stay close to the action. 12
  • Next, the location is quite perfect and pretty near to my friend's home. 8

  • Used a SNA to enjoy a Huntington Suite during our stay. Found it to be gigantic and great for our family of 3. 11
  • All 519 rooms have a balcony or patio, and guest rooms also earn praise for their clean, neutral decor and ample amenities, such as 65-inch flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi access and Keurig coffee makers. 2

Service

  • Service at the Hyatt Place Lexington was fantastic. From Theresa at check-in to Robin at the front desk who bought Truffles a special dog treat to all the other staff members, they were all friendly and helpful. 10
  • Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The service was warm and prompt. 11

Bed & Sleep

82

  • The bedroom had a king bed which was, as usual, very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. 10
  • Sleep in a design-forward Airstream at this Catskills retreat that feels less like camping and more like summer camp. 3

  • So if the price doesn't scare you, for going to a game you cannot beat rolling out of bed and walking over to Rupp without going outside. 9
  • To the best of my knowledge, there isn't another resort of this caliber at this cost in Orange County. These fantastic grounds are arguably the biggest single selling point of the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. It really strikes the sweet spot between spaciousness and price. 4

  • Having once served the community as Lexington Clinic, this stylish boutique hotel has been part of the historic Gratz Park neighborhood for over 100 years. Their rooms are conveniently located within walking distance from Rupp Arena and Lexington Convention Center, as well as some of the finest shopping and dining experiences in all of Lexington. 12
  • The Hilton Lexington/Downtown is conveniently only a four minutes walk to Rupp Arena, and less than half a mile to Central Bank Center. 12
  • Lockbox features a menu with a unique point of view, and it's committed to both quality, and supporting regional farmers. Its location simply cannot be beat, as it is located in the heart of downtown Lexington-making it the perfect choice for those who prefer to stay close to the action. 12
  • Its centralized location makes the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach a great option for families wanting the quintessential Pacific Coast Highway and Southern California vacation that includes Disneyland, but doesn't revolve around it. 4
  • Downtown also has a lot of great places in walking distance from the Hyatt. Lexington's downtown is safer than most major cities but still be aware when walking at night as you would in any major city at night. The area around the Hyatt is generally pretty good. 9
  • Location near the beach is great. Awesome place to stay if you just want to hang at the beach each day. 11
  • Located in Huntington Beach, about 40 miles south of Los Angeles, the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort offers prime access to the shore and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. 2
  • Located in the heart of Lexington's historic downtown, this hotel offers luxe rooms and a gracious staff that is well-versed in local history. 3
  • Next, the location is quite perfect and pretty near to my friend's home. 8
  • The recently renovated Campbell House is conveniently located near downtown, and a mere 4 miles from both the Bluegrass Airport and legendary Keeneland Racecourse. 12
  • The location of the hotel was pretty good. It's just off I-75, so it's convenient getting somewhere further afield and it's only 15 minutes from downtown Lexington in no traffic. 10
  • Lexington's downtown is safer than most major cities but still be aware when walking at night as you would in any major city at night. The area around the Hyatt is generally pretty good. 9
  • I never thought I'd see the shout out on my favorite blog, but here we are! It was great central location for visiting LA sites, Joshua Tree, La Jolla, and, of course, Disneyland. 4
  • Location by the beach is really convenient, and we appreciated how the hotel provided beach chairs and towels. An easy walk across the footbridge. 11
  • If you're looking for a single home base that's convenient to the beach, Disneyland, DCA, Knott's Berry Farm, John Wayne Airport, Balboa Island, Angel Stadium, Universal Studios Hollywood, and other attractions in Southern California, the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is pretty much unbeatable. 4
Room17 mentions
  • The balcony ended up being the "feature" of the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort rooms that we used most. Ours was framed with an archway, which either offers a nice sense of seclusion and shade or obstructs the view, depending upon your perspective. We preferred this to the standard balconies with a wall separating the rooms. 4
  • All 519 rooms have a balcony or patio, and guest rooms also earn praise for their clean, neutral decor and ample amenities, such as 65-inch flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi access and Keurig coffee makers. 2
  • Standard room size is ~450 square feet (+/- about 15 feet depending upon the room location). We found this to be sufficiently spacious; there was plenty of room to move around, work, and get ready. 4
  • One big downside of this living room area was that there were no easily accessible power outlets. The only one in that vicinity was behind the couch and had the lights plugged in to them. 10
  • Used a SNA to enjoy a Huntington Suite during our stay. Found it to be gigantic and great for our family of 3. 11
  • Upgrade to a large, one bedroom suite with a SUA. Very comfortable for our family. 11
  • The corner sleeper sofa was very comfortable, with a decent-sized ottoman that we used as a table. 10
  • Convenient to every place we wanted to go ! There was a place in the ceiling in our room that needed repaired . May have been water damage 13
  • Catalina Suite is great; it's smaller than some of the other suites but I like the layout more, and it's just the two of us so we didn't need the extra space. 11
  • Still, the furniture is nice enough, is in good condition, and has been updated relatively recently. 4
  • room was clean and comfortable. 13
  • All 519 rooms have a balcony or patio, and guest rooms also earn praise for their clean, neutral decor and ample amenities, such as 65-inch flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi access and Keurig coffee makers. (However, some guests note that the internet connection isn't always reliable.) 2
  • Unfortunately there weren't any available outlets by the bed without unplugging other items. 10
  • The king-sized bed inside the room was very nice and I had gotten a non-smoking room, which I shared with 2 of my non-smoking friends. 8
  • Everything in the room from the beds to the pillows looked inviting and certainly nice, especially the toiletries. 8
  • Room was warm and I asked for a fan and they did not have one. My husband went to Walmart around 11 pm to get a fan for me. Thanks to him I had a great night of sleeping. 13
  • The bedroom had a king bed which was, as usual, very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. 10
Bathroom3 mentions
  • One of the nice features of the bathroom is that the door opened out rather than in. Quite a few Hyatt Places we've stayed at have doors that open into the bathroom and don't leave much space to enter. 10
  • One other downside to the shower is that it took a good couple of minutes to get any warm water to come out of it. Somewhat strangely, it seemed like people flushing toilets in other rooms affected the water flow and temperature at times - I'm not sure we've had that at other hotels before. 10
  • The shower door leaked, there were no available power outlets in convenient locations and the TV remote (and TV itself) weren't very responsive. 10
Food15 mentions
  • In addition to the museum, 21c houses a chef-driven restaurant named Lockbox. Lockbox features a menu with a unique point of view, and it's committed to both quality, and supporting regional farmers. 12
  • The breakfast buffet is fantastic. It's a great place to stay. Walk out of your room and into the attached entrance. 9
  • It's also where breakfast is served for Hyatt Globalist members. Those breakfasts are fantastic-great California coastal cuisine-but we can't speak to any of the other meal services or restaurants. 4
  • But, breakfast at Watertable was excellent, which we enjoyed in our suite. 11
  • Onsite dining is superior at the HR 11
  • Food at Mankota's was excellent, we had one of the best cubano's we've ever had for lunch there. 11
  • (+) We thought the breakfast is good, but nothing to particularly mention. We thought the breakfast is good, but nothing to particularly mention. I got the Steaks Hash and I thought the meat was a bit under seasoned. 11
  • Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The service was warm and prompt. 11
  • If you're looking for a little stay with your art, the 21c Museum Hotel is your ticket; it's got one of the best dining destinations in town downstairs from your room. 3
  • Breakfast was the highlight, here. So, so good. A wonderful offering and spread. 11
  • There was plenty of seating available at breakfast time. A lot of Hyatt Place properties only have seats available in the lobby area, whereas the Hyatt Place Lexington had seats in the lobby, some in the breakfast area itself as well as a separate room off the breakfast area. 10
  • Didn't try the other restaurants. But had dinner one night in the main restaurant and it was very good. 11
  • Breakfast: I find the buffet to be slightly inferior at the HR but the a la carte menu wins 11
  • Don't miss out on a chance to visit Infinity: A Skybar & Café, this hotel's signature restaurant known for its delectable local fare and breathtaking views of downtown. 12
  • The common areas in the hotel were my favorite. I love hanging out int he restaurant area which were on the ground floor and slightly beneath an atrium roof. 8
Service16 mentions
  • The minute we arrived, we were given some warm greetings by any of the staff that came across us and they spoke good English as well. 8
  • You know you're in Kentucky when pre-mixed Mint Julep Maker's Mark is a drink option. We stayed at the hotel during Mother's Day and they offered free donuts that morning which was a nice touch. 10
  • Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The service was warm and prompt. 11
  • What's more, guests praise the overly helpful and friendly staff members at this resort. 2
  • Since this a Disney site, I will add to Tom that from valet (it was always great for us) to inside a gate, it was about 45 minutes getting there right at rope drop for our two days. 4
  • Our room was extremely quiet, so she wasn't disturbed from her slumber. She also got lots of attention from the front desk staff, especially Robin who she took a particular shine to. 10
  • Valet was pretty fast. I stopped by 4 times - twice just to get things from the car and twice for actual driving off, and they were all 5-10 minutes wait. 11
  • Staff is overall very nice, here. 11
  • The front desk representative Peter was very personable and welcoming. 13
  • Service was great all around, from the bar tenders, servers, bell hops etc. 11
  • The driver claimed he handed it off to staff and the staff never found it anywhere. It just straight up went missing, never to be seen. I spent maybe 45 mins searching, only to be given shoulder shrugs and "not my problem" types of reactions. 11
  • The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable overall. 10
  • Service at the Hyatt Place Lexington was fantastic. From Theresa at check-in to Robin at the front desk who bought Truffles a special dog treat to all the other staff members, they were all friendly and helpful. 10
  • All my interactions with every staff - FD, Valet, Watertable servers, Pacific Waters spa - were great. They seemed to enjoy the guests' company, and are very welcoming and knowledgable on the property and perks for Globalists. 11
  • Kathy at the front desk treated us like family. Acknowledged us every time she saw us. Very helpful. 13
  • I'm not sure if it was redone or simply rebranded (I'm guessing a mix, but mostly the latter), but it was a really nice hotel when we stayed there. That whole area is fantastic. We used to live on the other side of the golf course, and would take a nightly stroll down to Monarch Beach. 4
Noise3 mentions
  • The TV channel selection was OK, but not particularly extensive. Changing channels didn't work too well at times; we'd thought at first the battery in the remote might be dying, but even using the channel and volume buttons on the TV itself also worked intermittently. 10
  • Main street in HB is maybe a bit too far for a walk (we walked to pacific city mall a few times) 11
  • Truffles loved her time at the hotel. Our room was extremely quiet, so she wasn't disturbed from her slumber. 10
Value7 mentions
  • Additionally, the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach charges the dreaded resort fee and for parking. These fees are waived for those with Hyatt Globalist status, but they're not inexpensive for regular guests. 4
  • At the time, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Regency properties had a 'Buy 3, get the 4th night free' promotion going on. We were therefore able to book the first four nights for a total of $362.14, an average of $90.54 per night which was good value. 10
  • Walk out of your room and into the attached entrance. It's very very nice but expensive, I'm assuming you know that already. 9
  • So if the price doesn't scare you, for going to a game you cannot beat rolling out of bed and walking over to Rupp without going outside. 9
  • It's very very nice but expensive, I'm assuming you know that already. 9
  • To the best of my knowledge, there isn't another resort of this caliber at this cost in Orange County. These fantastic grounds are arguably the biggest single selling point of the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. It really strikes the sweet spot between spaciousness and price. 4
  • The Hyatt Place Lexington is a pet-friendly hotel. They have a $75 pet fee regardless of length of stay which is pretty good. 10
Bed & Sleep3 mentions
  • Sleep in a design-forward Airstream at this Catskills retreat that feels less like camping and more like summer camp. 3
  • Primarily, there was the internet issue in that it was unusable at times and painfully slow the rest of the time. 10
  • The bedroom had a king bed which was, as usual, very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. 10
