The verdict

Who's travelling?

Pick a traveller type to re-weight the scores and re-rank the rooms around what you actually care about.

Read it your way

This apartment hotel provides large, well-equipped units featuring full refrigerators, comfortable beds, and leisure amenities like a swimming pool and sauna. Its location near Checkpoint Charlie and multiple transit stations makes exploring the city effortless, supported by friendly and helpful staff. However, views are generally drab courtyard scenes, and some units have awkward layouts with cramped bathrooms where washer-dryer units crowd the space. 1363

What travelers noticed

  • Guests consistently get a restful sleep in the quiet courtyard-facing rooms, praising the comfortable mattresses and fluffy pillows. 96
  • The location earns steady praise for its proximity to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, bakeries, and sights like Checkpoint Charlie. 139
  • In-room amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi, manual air conditioning controls, and large refrigerators to hold groceries receive high marks. 17
  • The hotel staff are regularly described as friendly, wonderful, and eager to help. 2093

The catch

  • While many guests appreciate the large breakfast buffet, others consider the morning spread overpriced compared to neighborhood bakeries. 4

  • Room is on the inner courtyard side so it stays very quiet. Good air conditioning with manual control. 17
  • My room at the Adina Hackescher Markt faced the interior courtyard, a boring view but quiet. 6
  • The negative: Odd layout. The small bathroom ( tub/ shower) was at one end of the room, and the bedroom was at the other. The small living room was in between. 6
  • The hotel was clean and modern and the kitchen and washer/dryer in the room were very convenient. 5
  • In a separated room you can find the bedroom of the Adina Apartment Hotel. The bed is super comfortable and I slept very well in it. 4

  • Hopefully you won't be planning to bake! There's a well-stocked small grocery around the block from the hotel entrance. I used it for juice, yogurt and such, and got baked goods from the little bakery on the corner. 6
  • well located walking distance from Museum Island and close to a uban station On camera91:57
  • The hotel is located in the Mitte district of Berlin, a region that's dotted with notable attractions and has good access to public transportation. 11

  • I will third the recommendation for the Adina Hotel Hackescher Markt. I loved that location and would definitely stay there again. 6
  • Its location is a big drawing point, as you are a short walk from the underground station and walking distance to many other places of interest and places to eat. 12
  • The apartments are spacious, although the kitchenettes are rather small, but very handy when travelling with kids, plus the supermarket is nearby. 12
  • I've stayed at that Adina Aparthotel. I found the hotel to be extremely convenient for location and amenities. 16
  • I stayed at the Hackescher Market location back in 2019 for 10 nights and really liked the location. 6
  • Hackescher is arguably a better location, but also certainly more crowded and worse access from the airport train. 5

  • I haven't stayed at either but I did like the Adina at Hackescher Markt, which I also thought was very well located for sightseeing, food, and local transportation. 16
  • I stayed at the Meliá Berlin Friedrichstraße & LOVED IT. On the Spree, it is easy walking distance to Museum Island, Hackescher Markt, Brandenburg Gate, Gendarmenmarkt, Potsdamer Platz, and Dussman das Kulturkaufhaus bookstore (one are the best bookstores in Berlin!) 6
  • the location was good easy to walk to some tourist attractions and public transportation On camera91:03
  • this Adena property is in a superb location next to the hacker Market train stop and many restaurants On camera131:25
  • I guess you mean either the one at Spittelmarkt or Hackescher Markt. Go for the latter, more touristy and the location is a bit more convenient. 5
  • For me, the location was ideal, with the S-Bahn a block away, the U-Bahn a couple of blocks the other way, a bakery and grocery around the corner, a lot of restaurants within a couple of blocks, and Museum Island about a 10-minute walk. 6

  • The washer/ dryer was in the bathroom behind the door, which made for a lot going on in a very tiny space. 6
  • Comfy bed, bath and a shower. Swimming pool was a bit cold but really nice. 20
  • The white and brown-tiled bathrooms are comfortably spacious and have shower/tub combos or walk-in showers. 11
Food16 mentions · 1 filmed
  • A rich buffet breakfast is available daily. 18
  • The restaurant is welcoming and the good addition to your morning mood. The breakfast offer was well, however not everything was as cold as I wish it to be at a buffet breakfast. 4
  • All drinks are included in the breakfast deal, however they come out of two machines. I was surprised that their coffee was still of quite good taste. 4
  • Features include a quality on-site restaurant as well as an indoor heated pool and hot tub. 11
  • The breakfast spread is generous, though nothing too out of the ordinary. 1
  • The breakfast buffet was large and extensive. Many options. We cannot say enough positives about this stay. 20
  • The refrigerate is more than large enough to hold restaurant leftovers as well as grocery purchases. 6
  • breakfast was good yah for having vomite On camera91:54
  • The desert at Adina's restaurant however restored this directly. We ordered a Crema Catalana, which was great and received an ice-cream as a plus on top. It was put together really nice and was delicious. 4
  • Lobby has a fireplace with seating for having coffee. Lighting has multiple sources but can feel dim overall. 17
  • Hotel tilbyder en overdådig buffet som er serveret dagligt. 8
  • The positive: It was inexpensive, even with breakfast included. 6
  • The breakfast was very good at the Adina. 16
  • Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Whilst a small menu, the food was spot on. 20
  • The positive: It was inexpensive, even with breakfast included. We thought breakfast was fine. They were still dealing with Covid stuff, but you could order anything you wanted cooked to order. 6
  • The hotel provides a good quality breakfast and facilities including a swimming pool and gym. 3

  • Some rooms have balconies with views of nearby construction, and some past guests report issues of disruptive noise. 11
  • Location of the property was also great for us. There are currently works going on on the street and we were advised there would be no hot water during 2 days of our stay but this didn't affect anything for us and there was no overnight noise. 3
  • Room is on the inner courtyard side so it stays very quiet. Good air conditioning with manual control. 17
